Yeah, so my cousin started going to the church. After that discussion we had about the prophecy of King David, there was no way to deny that Christ Ahnsahnghong is God. She came to the church this morning and was very shocked at all of the truths in the Bible. She also was looking for the truth, but was raised up Catholic.
When she attended the service, she was still a little weary to sing to the New Name of Jesus, Christ Ahnsahnghong, but she still did out of respect. What really raised a question for her was Mother God. She asked, "Okay, I get how Christ Ahn Sahng Hong is God, but why Mother? Isn't Mary the Mother?"
Remembering the fact that she was "new" to this, I attempted to explain a little bit about how Mary is NOT the Mother.
"The Bible says that we must be born again in order to enter the Kingdom of Heaven, right? You know, like it says in John 3:3-7? How can anyone be born even a first time without a mother?"
"Right, that's what Mary is for, right?"
I told her that Mary was only used by God; she is not God herself. God is the only one who can give us spirital life - eternal life. However, the Spirit and the Bride give us the water of life, which is eternal life ( Then I quickly showed her these verses:
John 4:10-16 - 2000 years ago Jesus gave the water of life=eternal life
1Tim 6:15-16 - God alone is immortal (and you cannot give something you don't have)
Rev. 22:17 - The Spirit and Bride give in the last days the water of life=eternal life
However, Mary died.
Thinking about it, my cousin finally said, "Yeah, that makes sense. The Bride, the Mother cannot be Mary."
Then, who is the Bride?
