"That if you confess with your mouth, "Jesus is Lord", and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead you will be saved"

----Everyone knows this verse..We've all heard it, might have even quoted it once..I'm sure some have it smack dab in the middle of the fridge so you're reminded of it everytime you go to make a sandwich,. fair enough, it's a pretty awesome verse, if I just confess that Jesus is my Lord I will be saved. Seems pretty easy.

..but one must wonder, does this indeed apply to the age we're in living in now?
I'm sure you could wonder that about many things, but this in particular, considering what it was for the disciples at that time to JUST confess the name of Jesus Christ and be saved.

2000 years ago it wasn't "Just" confessing the name of Jesus Christ and you would be saved... it was more like confess --- get flogged, stoned, mocked, ridiculed, spit on, put to death --- be saved. ...nowadays when we confess the name Jesus Christ all you're likely to get is a "hallelujah". So then why is it so easy for us now?

Even in the times of the Old Testament. In Joel 2:32 the BIble says "And Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved"

So Clearly confessing the "NAME" of the Lord is important for Salvation. At this time of course it wasn't Jesus Christ they were professing, it was Jehovah. Once again, seems pretty easy, but was it? According to the prophect Jeremiah, difficulty came along with what seemed to be so easy.

"Lord you decieved me and I was deceived; you overpowered me and prevailed. I am ridiculed all day long; everyone mocks me...So the word of the Lord has brought me insult and reproach all day long. But if I say "I will not mention him or speak anymore in his name , his word is in my heart like a fire, a fire shut up in my bones. I am weary of holding it in, indeed I cannot" Jeremiah 20:7-9

** There is a pattern here. In both the age of the Father and the age of the Son, those who confessed the name of the Lord were mocked for the Name of Lord, HOWEVER, it didn't stop them because they valued the Salvation that came with it.

OKay so in 2009, are we still living in the age of the son any longer? We certaintly aren't mocked for it any longer. When Jehovah came in the flesh as a son according to Prophecy (Isaiah 9:6) the Name of our Savior changed to Jesus Christ.
Something is missing.

In Matthew 28:18 "Jesus came to them and said, "All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Therefore go and make disciples of all nations baptizing them in the Name of the Father and of the son and of the Holy Spirit.."

He didn't say title right? he said Name.

Name of Father = Jehovah
Name of Son = Jesus
Name of Holy Spirit = ?

Shouldn't the Holy Spirit have a name too? I'm sure it wasn't a typo on Matthew's part, there must be a reason why Jesus said in all three NAMES. Throughout the entire BIble its obvious that knowing the "NAME" of our Savior is very important. Then Let's see, should there also be a name for the Holy Spirit?

"....and I will also write on him my new name. He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches" Revelation 3:12-13

----though Jesus is speaking here, it says hear what the Spirit says to the churches.

As we saw through previous verses when an age changed, the Name of our Savior changed. Then here we see Jesus is giving us a NEW NAME, then if a new name is being given which age has begun? Has to be the age of the Holy Spirit. The final age of the Bible. That's why in Revelation everything refers to SPirit, because the age of the Holy Spirit is in the Last days.

In the book of Ecclesiastes God helps us to understand many important basic concepts in order to follow God correctly... such as..where our spirit comes from and returns to... and also the concept of time limitation.

Eccl. 3:1 - "There is a time for everything, and a season for every activity under heaven:
a time to be born and a time to die
a time to plant and a time to uproot
a time to kill and a time to heal
a time to tear down and a time to build
a time to weep and a time to laugh
a time to mourn and a time to dance

...so what is it that God wants us to understand through this? Obviously there is a time for everything and with that there is time limitation. Everything must come to an end, nothing lasts forever (except the Kingdom of heaven) --- THen in the same way there is a time limitation on the name of our Savior.

Sure 2000 years ago if we confessed with our Mouths Jesus is Lord and Believed it in our hearts we would be saved, but 1. We're not living in that time anymore, and 2. They were greatly persecuted for it.

Nowadays We are living in the age of Second COming Christ - The Age of the Holy Spirit.

"I will also give him a white stone with a new name written on it, known only to him who receives it" Rev 2:17

"As you come to him, the living Stone, rejected by men but chosen by God" 1Peter 2:4

The White Stone we will be given is Christ Coming again to give us his New Name, so that we may call on our Savior and be saved. Is it easy? Does everyone believe today that Christ Ahnsahnghong is GOd? of course not, throughout Bible history we can see that that's how it's supposed to be. If everyone fell from persecution during the Ages of the Father and Son, no one would have received Salvation, but they understood the concept of time limitation and the importance of the Name of our Savior, and because of that were able to enter the Kingdom of Heaven.

"For you are receiving the goal of your faith, the salvation of your souls"
1Peter 1:9

So in the end we have the Salvation of our souls to look forward to, this is what we work towards in our life of faith. Then in order to have Salvation the MOST important thing is knowing who our Savior truly is.

I thought about it this way,
When Jesus Christ came to this earth, who were the ones that were saved? The ones who continued to profess the Name of Jehovah or the ones who turned to Jesus Christ? At that time when Christ came, the Name of Jehovah wouldn't save them any longer. Although it was difficult to break their concepts and see Jesus as Jehovah in the flesh, Jesus was the one to save them. The same thing is occurring now, in the last days, although Jesus has been the name to call on up until this point, It is now the Age of the Holy Spirit, therefore we Must call on the New Name to receive Salvation. So then why do we hear so much about Christ Ahnsahnghong, and why is most of it to mock and bash? because He is Jesus' second Coming,

---the hard part is Confessing with your mouth and Believing in your heart that Christ Ahnsahnghong is Second Coming Christ.
