For a very long time I wondered what I had to do to be odedient to God. Was it merely doing the right thing and being a good person? I felt like maybe there was something more, something I was missing, but it was so hard to find out the way with so many different options. Could it be that everyone who claims to know God, walks in obedience to God's word? If that's the case, then why are we all different. There is only one word of God, how can so many different ways all be walking in accordance to the will of God. Is anyone disobedient? Isaiah prophesied of what will happen because of our DISobedience to God....
" See, the Lord is going to lay waste the earth and devastate it; he will ruin its face and scatter its inhabitants...The earth is defiled by its people; they have disobeyed the laws, violated the statutes and broken the everlasting covenant" Isa 24:1-5
* This verse is very serious if you think about it. God is going to destroy the earth, and for what reason? Because the people of the earth are disobedient to God's word. This must mean that even though many of us think we're walking in the path of God, we may not be. I think a lot about all of the different religions that came into existence throughout history and who the founders were; mostly men (aside from the time of Moses and the time of Jesus). Yet, many of these denominations and religions have a great number of followers. However, according to the word of God, in the last days it will be because of our own disobedience that this world is defiled.
Then the question is, how is it that we may remain obedient to God, in hopes of being saved from this disaster?
Throughout the history of the Bible, we can understand many things even about the times we're living in now. Everything that was written in the past was written to teach us (Ro 15:4)
King Hezekiah always did was right in the eyes of the Lord,
"This is what Hezekiah did throughout Judah, doing what was good and right and faithful before the Lord his God. In everything that he undertook in the service of God's temple and in odedience to the law and the commands, he sought his God and worked whole heartedly and so he prospered" 2 Chr 30:20-21
Hezekiah's faithfulness to God was following God's laws and commands. Even in the time of the Old Testament, though it was very difficult to keep God's commands and laws, he realized the importance in doing so, even when everyone else began worshiping idols and other gods, Hezekiah understood the power of God and the error of their ways; such as the worship of idols (2 Kings 18:1)
Now the laws of God have been fulfilled by Christ (Mt 5:17), however many people teach that the mere belief in God is obedience to God. If that were the case, God wouldn't be destroying the earth for our lack of obedience. In order to have obedience, there must be something to follow....
Let's get a little clarity through our trusty dictionary.com
o⋅be⋅di⋅ence /oʊˈbidiəns/ –noun
1. the state or quality of being obedient.
2. the act or practice of obeying; dutiful or submissive compliance: Military service demands obedience from its members.
3. a sphere of authority or jurisdiction, esp. ecclesiastical.
4. Chiefly Ecclesiastical. a. conformity to a monastic rule or the authority of a religious superior, esp. on the part of one who has vowed such conformance.
b. the rule or authority that exacts such conformance
"Anyone who runs ahead and does not continue in the teaching of Christ does not have God;" 2 John :9
Then, obedience comes from following the very teachings that Christ gave us. Then what did Christ teach us?
"If you love me you will obey what I command....Whoever has my commands and obeys them, he is the one who loves me" John 14:15-21
and again..
"And this is love: that we walk in obedience to his commands. As you have heard from the beginning, his command is that you walk in love" 2Jn :6
To obey God is to walk in the love that God has given us. How do we do that exactly?
"How great is the love the Father has lavished on us, that we should be called children of God" 1Jn 3:1
Are we all children of God? How are we to know and if not, How do we become a child of God?
"Dear friends, now we are children of God..we shall be like him for we shall see him as he is...Everyone who has this hope in him, purifies himself, just as he is pure" 1Jn 3:2-3
The Children of God must be purified as Christ was purified, then how is it that we may purify ourselves?
"Now that you have purified yourselves by obeying the truth so that you have sincere love for your brothers, love one another deeply from the heart. For you have been born again...through the living and enduring word of God." 1 Pet 1:22
Therefore, we are purified by obeying the truth, the living word of God, through which we are born again. How is the word of God living?
"In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God." Jn 1:1
God Almighty, The word, came in the flesh as Jesus Christ, through which we are purified and born again.
"May the God of peace, who through the blood of the eternal covenant brought back from the dead our Lord Jesus...equip you with everything good for doing his will" Hebrews 13:20
Through the blood of the eternal covenant, we may be equiped with everything that we need to follow God's will. If we go back to the prophesy in Isaiah, what is our disobedience that will cause God to destroy the earth?
"The earth is defiled by its people; they have disobeyed the laws, violated the statutes and broken the everlasting covenant" Isa 24:5
Our disobedience to God is breaking the everlasting covenant, which in Hebrews is the "blood of the eternal covenant" through Jesus Christ. As we know, we are purified through obeying the truth, the living word, which is Christ. Then what exactly is this eternal (everlasting) covenant that we have broken which involves blood and Christ?
"Drink from it all of you. This is my blood of the covenant which is poured out for many for the forgiveness of sins" Mt 26:27
Jesus spoke these words the night of the Passover (Mt 26:17) when he gave us his flesh and blood. Christ eagerly desired to give us his flesh and blood (Lk 22:15) in order to purify us. He is the living Word that became flesh. His flesh, given to us on the night of the Passover gives us the way to obey God's word, enter eternal rest, and love our brothers in Christ.
"Now you brothers like Isaac are children of Promise" Gal 4:28
"And this is what he promised us - even eternal life" 1Jn 2:25
"I tell you the truth...whoever eats my flesh and drinks my blood has eternal life" John 6:53-54
**Then how is it that we broke this covenant that God gave us?
As the Bible clearly states, it was the night of the Passover that Jesus Christ gave his body and blood for us. However, in AD 325 Roman Emperor Constantine and the Council of Nicaea abolished the Passover, and instead instituted communion and eucharist in its place.
How was it broken? Passover has an appointed time according to the Bible (Lev 23:5), however nowadays communion and eucharist are kept at any given time on all occasions. This is breaking the very command that God gave us to keep the festival of the Passover.
"For Christ, our Passover lamb has been sacrificed. Therefore let us keep the festival" 1Cor 5:7-8
It is by the word of God that we receieve the promise. Many claim to know God, yet follow in laws/decrees that don't go in accordance with what the word of God actually says. This is why Isaiah prophesied that the earth will be destroyed because we have broken the very laws and teachings that God has given us.
"They claim to know God, but by their actions they deny him. They are detestable, disobedient and unfit for doing anything good" Titus 1:16
** So then how do we come to obey God, so that we may be saved from disaster in the last days? By following the truth of God's word and being purified by keeping the Passover. Although it was abolished throughout history, we have now received the Passover once again, by the very grace of God. As prophesied:
"In the last days....He will teach us his ways, so that we may walk in his paths. The law will go out from Zion, the word of the Lord from Jerusalem" Mic 4:1-2
In the last days God Almighty will establish Zion in order for us to know the path of God and fully obey it. The Word of God Almighty will come from Jerusalem, but not the physical city, God's word must come from God...
"But the Jerusalem that is above is free and she is our Mother......Now you brothers like Isaac are children of promise" Gal 4:26-28
..and that promise is eternal life, the promise to be born again.
" Indeed, of Zion, it will be said, "This one and that one were born in her, and the Most High himself will establish her." Psalm 87:5
We have received the Passover, brought back by Christ Ahnsahnghong, to give us life.
Christ Ahnsahnghong, the Most High Himself, re-established Zion, the city of God's festivals (Isa 33:20; Lev 23:1), and revealed Heavenly Mother, the New Jerusalem.
Through the Promise of God's word, we have been purified, born again; through the Passover blood of the eternal covenant, the only way to fully become obedient to God's word. Though many claim to know God, it is by the TRUTH that we receive the promise that God has given us, which is eternal life only be keeping the Passover.
When King Hezekiah realized the importance of the Passover, he sent word to everyone who had not kept it for many years. Though many mocked and ridiculed him (2 Ch 30:1,10) those few who obeyed God's word were saved from the attack of a vast army that attacked Jerusalem (2 Ki 19:30-35). Though everyone else was destroyed; they were saved through the promise God gave through the Passover. We can learn from this. Though many may mock and claim to know the way of God, it is only by the word of God that we are saved. And though for a very long time many have followed other ways and have forgotten the laws of God, these very laws have been brought back for the sake of our Salvation. Our obedience to God's word is what grants us eternal life, and safety from disaster in the last days.
Many people believe that when the second coming of Christ appears, it will be a spiritual phenomenon, since the last days are the age of the Holy Spirit. However, there is also a great deal of testimony stating that Christ Ahnsahnghong is in fact second coming of christ.
Then which one is true, according to the Bible?
"But when the Counselor, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, will teach you all things, and will remind you of everything I have said to you." John 14:26
While still living on this earth, Jesus said WHEN the Counselor, the Holy Spirit comes, he will REMIND you of everything I have said to you. Let's analyze that statement for a second (of course not going beyond what is written):
1) Everything Jesus said was literally spoken, from his mouth, because he was a man. Now if people are right in saying that the second coming will be a spiritual happening, does that mean that the Holy Spirit will come this time and whisper the teachings of God in our ears?
2) I find it interesting that many people have a hard time believing that God will come again in the flesh. Actually God came in the flesh in every age, even in the age of the Father, several times.
- To Moses: "The Lord would speak to Moses face to face, as a man speaks with his friend" Ex. 33:11
- To Jacob: "It is because I saw God face to face and my life was spared" Gen. 32:30
Even before God came to this earth as Jesus Christ, He appeared to several of his servants in the form of a human being. Then how is it that the Counselor, the Holy Spirit, will remind us of everything that Jesus Christ taught us?
"I have much more to say to you, more than you can now bear. But when HE, The Spirit of Truth, comes, he will guide you into all truth. He will not speak on his own; he will speak only what he hears, and he will tell you what is yet to come. He will bring glory to me by taking from what is mine and making it known to you." John 16:12-14
Here, the Spirit is referred to as a HE. In order to be referred to as he, one must have a gender, meaning one must be human. Then, when He (Jesus) comes again as the Counselor, the Holy Spirit, HE will REMIND us of everything Jesus taught us.
Now why would we need to be reminded of everything that Jesus Christ taught. We've had the Bible this whole time, what is to be reminded?
Teachings of Christ:
* Worship on the Sabbath (Lk 4:16, Lk 23:56, Ac 17:2)
* Passover (Mt 26:17-26, 1 Co 11:23, 1 Co 5:7)
* Women wear veils during worship (1 Co 11:1)
* Feasts of God (Jn 7:1-10, Ac 2:1, Mt 26:17, Lev 23:1)
NOT teachings of Christ:
* Sunday Worship
* Communion/Eucharist/Sacrament
* Men covering their heads
* Christmas/Thanksgiving/Easter
Now we can clearly see what it is that we have to be reminded of. Somewhere along the line the true teachings of Christ were changed/abolished, beginning in AD 321 with the Sabbath day by Roman Emperor Constantine and AD 325 abolishment of Passover.
After this time, Christ's teachings began to mix with pagan traditions and to this day they have remained mixed. However, Christ said that the Counselor will come to remind us of everything that he taught 2000 years ago.
In the age of the Holy Spirit, Christ Ahnsahnghong came and brought back every true teaching of the Bible, which according to the word of God, if we do not follow, cannot receieve salvation:
"I know that his command leads to eternal life" Jn 12:50
If we didn't know the commands of God, how could we possibly enter eternal life? That is why Christ had to come again, to teach us everything that was once abolished and show us the way to go back to the kingdom of heaven. Christ Ahnsahnghong restored the Passover, Sabbath, feasts of God and every other teaching that was given to us by first coming Christ, in order that we may keep them and receieve Salvation.
" So Christ was sacrificed once to take away the sins of many people; and he will appear a second time, not to bear sin, but to bring salvation to those who are waiting for him" Heb 9:28
"I will also write on him my new name. He who has an ear let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches" Rev 3:12-13
"In the last days...Come let us go up to the mountain of the Lord...HE will teach us his ways, so that we may walk in his paths." Mic 4:1-2
** In accordance with many other prophecies, the Bible clearly states that in the last days, it will be God himself that will come to teach us his ways so that we may know the way to have Salvation.
I mean come on, think about it for a second with so many different denominations and sects out there, its a BLESSING to know that second Coming Christ came to bring back to us the true path to follow in order to enter Eternal Life.
Jesus answered, "The work of God is this: to believe in the one he has sent"Jn 6:29
"The Knowing", Nostradamus, The Mayan Calendar
What do these things have in common? In Mass Media nowadays along with the film "2012" all are proclaiming the end of the world to happen within the next two years. If this were to be true, it's pretty scary to think that the end will actually come. But who actually believes that, I mean, come on, the end of the world? Seems pretty unlikely. They said the same thing about Y2K and HEY, I'm still here.
It's interesting though, what if it is true. There are so many proclamations about the end, yet no one has the answer to it. Say it is true, and we do know ahead of time, what can be done to protect us? How can we be safe from disaster? No man can possibly save himself from something that overpowers the earth.
Then what does God promise us and what does the Bible have to say about what everyone else is proclaiming?
"Surely the Soveriegn Lord does nothing without revealing his plan to his servants the prophets" Amos 3:7
"I tell you," he replied, "If they keep quiet, the stones will cry out...If you, even you, had only known on this day what would bring you peace - but now it is hidden from your eyes. The days will come upon you when your enemies will build an embankment against you and encircle you and hem you in on every side. They will dash you to the ground, you and the children within your walls. They will not leave one stone on another, because you did not recognize the time of God's coming to you" Luk 19:40-44
God promises that everything that will take place in the future will be revealed to God's people. Why would those very words that Jesus spoke 2000 years ago, have any effect on us today? This is why: The book of Revelation as we know speaks about the last days and what they will be like. In revelation 7 God gives us a very important warning:
[ "After this I saw four angels standing at the four corners of the earth holding back the four winds of the earth to prevent any wind from blowing on the land or on the sea or on any tree"] Rev. 7:1
This verse is speaking of winds at each corner of the earth (N,S,E,W) that are about to cause great harm. Is the Bible prophesying about a bad tornado or hurricane that will take place?
"A scorching wind from the barren heights in the desert blows toward my people..a wind too strong for the comes from me....Tell this to the nations..a beseiging army is coming from a distant land, raising a war cry" Jeremiah 4:11-16
The wind that the Bible refers to is war. Even in the media wars are often given the title of "the winds of war".
If we go back to Revelation 7, the angels are holding back a war coming from every direction of the earth. Then this isn't just a war within a nation, it's a world war. How severe will this war be? With the wars that took place in the past they did great harm but didn't destroy the earth. However, the weapons we have no are far more powerful. A nuclear war would be just the thing to destroy us. If not right away, a nuclear winter will surely cap it off. Doesn't sound very pleasant does it, but why does God give us this warning, just to let us know "Hey this is uh, going to happen, I'm sorry to have to break it to you".... No, because God always gives us a way out.
[ Then I saw another angel coming up from the east, having the seal of the living God. "He called out in a loud voice to those who were given power to harm the land and the sea: Do not harm the land or the sea or the trees until we put a seal on the foreheads of the servants of our God"] Rev. 7:2-3
This angel, coming from the East, has the Seal of the Living God. Can anyone but God have God's seal? No. Just as no one can have my signature but me. He is coming to seal the servants of God, but how? and why do they need to be sealed?
"They were told not to harm the grass of the earth or any plant or tree, but only those people who did NOT have the Seal of God on their foreheads" Rev. 9:4
Anyone who does not have this Seal, will be destroyed. Then what is the Seal? I want it!
"Do not work for food that spoils, but for food that endures to eternal life, which the Son of Man (Jesus Christ) will give you. On him God the Father has placed his seal of approval" John 6:27
Jesus Christ is the Seal of God, then if we have Christ in us, we also have the Seal.
"Whoever eats my flesh and drinks my blood remains in me and I in him" John 6:56
Then, in order to have Christ in us we must eat his flesh and drink his blood. That way we can also be Sealed by God. The angel that is coming from the East is bringing this Seal. Can just any angel bring the flesh and blood of Christ to this earth? How is it that we can even receive the flesh and blood of Christ?
"The teacher says my appointed time is near, I am going to celebrate the Passover with my disciples... While they were eating, Jesus took bread.."Take and eat this is my body", Then he took the cup, "drink from it all of you this is my blood of the covenant." Matthew 26:18-26
OKay so, through the feast of the Passover, Jesus Christ gives us his flesh and blood. Then the angel that is coming from the east is actually bringing... the Passover. 2000 years ago who was the one to bring the New Covenant Passover? Jesus Christ.
What about the first account of the Passover? Who commanded it?
Exodus 12:11 "...Eat it in haste it is the Lord's Passover"
Through every account in the Bible we can see that God is always the one to give the Passover.
And now we see, in Revelation, the one coming from the east is bringing the Seal of God, which is given through receiving Christ in us, which is the flesh and blood of Christ, which is the Passover.
WELL, only God has given us the Passover, then this angel coming from the east, holding the Seal of the LIVING God, can only be God Almighty.
That is why the message that Jesus gave 2000 years ago, applies to now. The stones are crying out. Mass media, ancient prophets, and now even biblical prophecy is telling us that time is very near and God is obviously telling us that We must be sealed before anything takes place.
Christ Ahnsahnghong came from the East. When John receieved the revelation he was on the island of Patmos, east of which is, Korea, where second coming Christ appeared to bring the Passover, the Seal of God.
The reason why we're hearing so much about this in the media is because God is forewarning us. Even if we don't believe the prophecies of the Bible, look at everything else around us. The only difference is, God is showing us a way out, because we know that nothing on this earth can possibly save us from the disasters that will take place.
That is why the BIble says that God does nothing without revealing his plan. In every which way the message is being given very clearly to us. God wants to give us life. If you think of how small of a speck this earth is compared to the vast universe, then think about God almighty coming to this earth, taking the form of a human being, so that we can receive life for eternity.....That's pretty incredible.
"Surely the Sovereign Lord does nothing without revealing his plan to his servants the prophets."
Amos 3:7
If you really think about that verse for a second it's pretty amazing. God reveals HIS PLAN to his servants before allowing that plan to take place. That means that God always reveals the prophecies to his servants in order for us to understand how to truly follow God's will. Then first of all, who is it that God considers his servants, and how do we become one in order to know what God's plan is?
"Then Jesus came to them and said, All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you." Matthew 28:18-20
In order to become a disciple of Christ we must first be baptized in the Name of the Father, the Name of the Son and the Name of the Holy Spirit. But let's first see that Christ indeed calls his disciples his true servants and reveals his plan only to them.
"The disciples came to him and asked, "Why do you speak to the people in parables?"
He replied, "The knowledge of the secrets of the kingdom of heaven has been given to you, but not to them." Mattew 13:10-11
So only to the disciples of Christ does God reveal his plan and the secrets of the kingdom of heaven to. There's only one problem. This baptism must be done in the name of the Father, the name of the Son, and the name of the Holy Spirit.
Name of the Father = Jehovah
Name of the Son = Jesus Christ
Name of the Holy Spirit = ?
(words of Christ) "..I will also write on him my new name. He who has an ear let him hear what the Spirit says to the Churches." Revelation 3:12-13
At Christ's second coming (Hewbrews 9:28), He gave us a new name in which we ought to be baptized in, that name is Christ Ahnsahnghong. However, there are often rumors and persecution regarding this, let's understand why. Several examples through the Apostolic ages allow us to understand two very important things, in order that we don't make the same mistakes they did..
(1). Baptism must be done in the Name of the Savior in the current age.
We are no longer living in the Age of the Son, we are living in the age of the Holy Spirit, the last age.
[Then Peter said, "Can anyone keep these people from being baptized with water?..So he ordered that they be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ."]
This baptism was given to a Jewish man named Cornelius. Though he was a faithful follower of Jehovah God, he needed to receive baptism in the Name of Jesus Christ, because they weren't living in the Father's age any Longer. When God came in the flesh as a son the age changed from the age of the Father to the age of the son, therefore the name of the Savior also changed. As we can see the name is of great importance for Salvation.
2. In the age of the Son, the disciples, the ones who were given the secrets to the kingdom of heaven and the knowledge of God's plan, were greatly persecuted for proclaiming that Jesus Christ was the Savior, however as we all know well now, he most certaintly was. During that time right before his death, Stephen made a speech to those who were mocking him:
["You stiff-necked people, with uncircumcised hearts and ears! You are just like your fathers: You always resist the Holy Spirit! Was there ever a prophet your fathers did not persecute? They even killed those who predicted the coming of the Righteous One. ANd now you have betrayed and murdered him - you who have receieved the law that was put into effect through angels but have not obeyed it."] Acts 7:51-53
**Throughout every age, whether in the Father's, Son's, or even now, in the age of the Holy Spirit, people mock the prophets of God out of disbelief, holding onto the previous age and not trusting in the scriptures or the power of God. Second Coming Christ has already come and brought back every truth of the Bible; which is Sabbath, Passover, the feasts of God, and most importantly, Heavenly Mother. The Church of God teaches these things because this is the Church that Christ Ahnsahnghong established himself.
Even Apostle Paul one of the greatest Apostles of Christ was given, by the grace of God, understanding that the very one he was killing others for following was indeed his Savior. And in turn, God's plan was revealed to him. So he went out and spread that very message, unable to hold in the wonder of God's Salvation.
In this day and age many nations are streaming to the Church of God to find out if true God is really there. I myself am thankful, feeling just like Apostle Paul, by God's grace, the very one that I was slandering turns out to be my Elohim God, Father Christ Ahnsahnghong and Heavenly Mother. The true Savior in the age of the Holy Spirit.
"The Spirit and the Bride say, "Come!" and let him who hears say, "Come!". Whoever is thirsty let him come; and whoever wishes let him take the free gift of the water of life." Revelation 22:17
The other day I started thinking about the cross. I was in a history class and we were discussing the methods of torture they used to use for serious criminals. Methods such as beheading by axe or sword, boiling to death, burned at the stake, I mean you, think of it they did it ( And if you think of that you're sick - - just kidding). But the worst method the Ancient Romans used to use was crucifixion. This method was kept for the most severe criminals because it was the most torturous. Some would be there over 6 hours suffering in agony until finally passing away. Then think about it, this is the method that they used to kill our one and only God when He came in the flesh. I wonder how God really feels about the cross. Almost every church that you pass has a cross somewhere existing whether outside or in. Yet that very cross is found all over cemetaries. A place of "life" and a place of "death". Then I started looking through the Bible to see if there's any reference to it and found some pretty interesting stuff.....
In John it says:
"Just as Moses lifted up the snake in the desert, so the Son of Man must be lifted up, that everyone who believes in him may have eternal life" (John 3:14)
So then I wondered...what does Moses lifting up the bronze snake have to do with Jesus being lifted up on the cross. What is the similarity?
In the book of Exodus chapter 21, it is said that the bronze snake was lifted up to save the Israelites from death. At that time they began complaining while traveling through the desert after being saved from slavery in Egypt by God. So God sent venomous snakes and many died due to their grumbling and complaining. They they realized they pleaded to God to forgive them and God commanded Moses to make a bronze snake and whoever looked at the bronze snake after being bitten would live. Now, obviously the bronze snake that Moses made had zero power, but where did the power come from?
Since God told them they would live if they looked at it, then they lived. Then automatically who should they give thanks to? the bronze snake or God?
Well do you know what those silly Israelites did?
2 Kings 18:1-4
[He (King Hezekiah) did what was right in the eyes of the Lord, just as his father David had done. He removed the high places, smashed the sacred stones and cut down the Asherah poles. He broke into pieces the bronze snake Moses had made, for up to that time the Israelites had been burning incense to it]
What does it mean when someone burns incense to something? worship
from 1446 BC to 562 BC the people were worshiping the bronze snake that God used to allow the Israelites to live. Does that make any sense whatsoever? Yet, as we saw in John what did the verse say? JUST AS moses lifted up the bronze snake, so the son of man must be lifted up.
Then what is it that must be understood from that verse?
Romans 15:4 [ For everything that was written in the past was written to teach us..]
Nowadays every church, every graveyard, and many Christians regard the cross as a piece of holy material. The very object that Jesus Christ was crucified on. Was it the piece of wood that Christ died on that saved us from our sins? or was it the Shedding of his blood and the promise that God spoke that gives us eternal life?
I always think of the scenario in this way. If my dad were killed by a gunman, the one thing I would never want to see again, is a gun. I wouldn't wear one around my neck, or keep one near me in rememberance of my dad. In the same way, our Father, in heaven, was killed by crucifixion, the worst possible way to die, and yet the cross is regarded as something holy and precious. Is it really?
The Prophet Jeremiah spoke about such things:
Jeremiah 10:3-5
[For the customs of the peoples are worthless; they cut a tree out of the forest, and a craftsman shapes it with his chisel. They adorn it with silver and gold; they fasten it with hammer and nails so it will not totter. Like a scarecrow in a melon patch, their idols cannot speak.]
This piece of wood, this idol that Jeremiah is prophesying about is described as a scarecrow...but ..What does a scarecrow in a melon patch look like?
What does that look very similar to?
Jeremiah prophesied that people would make idols out of the crucific, just as the Isrealites during the time of Moses made an idol out of the bronze snake.
Okay, so clearly in the Word of God, the crucifix is considered to be an idol, then is it good to have an idol in the eyes of God?
The very second of commandment of God tells us very clearly
Exodus 20:4
[You shall NOT make for yourself an idol in the form of anything...You shall not bow down to them or worship them]
But what will happen if we do?
Deuteronomy 27:15
[Cursed is the man who carves an image or casts an idol-a thing detestable to the Lord, the work of the craftsman's hands - and sets it up in secret]
So even though I am in a place of worship, if any type of idol is existing, can blessings be received? Not according to the Bible. God said cursed is that man who casts the idol, even if it is in secret. Now this is very serious if you think about it, how many churches have idols? Almost every single one. But is that following the word of God? Can blessings be found in a place that casts idols?
Jeremiah 2:27-28
[They say to wood you are my father, and to stone you gave me birth. They have turned their backs to me and not their faces; Yet when they are in trouble they say, "Come and save us!" Where then are the gods you made for yourselves? Let them come if they can save you]
Here the book of Jeremiah is prophesying about today. Who died on a piece of wood? Our Father from heaven. What image is carved out of stone that people call mother? The virgin mary. Not only are they idols, but what else does God consider them? Other gods
So Idolatry something that, mind you, is detestable to God, is breaking not only the second Commandment, but also the first, which says "You shall have no other gods before me".
Its incredible how every truth of the Bible has been revealed through the Church of God World Mission Society. I walked around my entire life up until now with a curse around my neck, not realizing I carried around the very thing that God finds detestable.
In the time of Hezekiah's reign, he did what was right in the eyes of the Lord, then what did he do? He smashed every idol, including the bronze snake. This is the history that we must learn from, that through their wrongdoings we may have hope in learning the error of our ways.
Jeremiah 10:1/8
"Do not learn the ways of the nations....they are senseless and foolish; they are taught by worthless wooden idols"
Who is the Bride in Revelation 22:17
Many say the Church, some say different. Let's see.
Let's Examine:
Now, Let's see what the Bride is in Revelation:
"One of the seven angels who had the seven bowls full of the seven last plagues came and said to me, "Come I will show you the bride the wife of the Lamb." And he carried me away in Spirit to a mountain great and high and showed me the Holy City, Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God"
Here, in revelation the Bride is described as the Holy City Jerusalem coming down out of heaven. In Ephesians, the bride is clearly the church. Let's look a bit deeper.
"I Jesus have sent my angel to give you this testimony for the churches...."
"The Spirit and the bride say, "Come!" and let him who hears say, "Come!" Whoever is thirsty let him come; and whoever wishes let him take the free gift of the water of life" Rev. 22:17
Jesus gave the testimony to the churches that the Spirit and the bride are offering the water of life. If the Church were the bride in revelation they would have already known that without having Christ give them the testimony. In 21:9, the bride is Holy City Jerusalem coming from heaven. The Church cannot give itself the water of life. Then, in order to understand the heavenly Jerusalem, it's important to know the earthly Jerusalem first..why? because.....
"They serve at a sanctuary that is a copy and shadow of what is in heaven" Hebrews 8:5
The reality of the sanctuary is in the Kingdom of Heaven, the shadow is on earth. However in the last days, the reality is coming down out of heaven to this earth.
If we think about this logically for a second without even looking into it, the church itself isn't in heaven, the church is already on earth, then how is it that in the last days the church will come from heaven to this earth to give us the water of life? Doesn't make much sense does it.
"The man brought me back to the entrance of the temple, and I saw water coming out from under the threshold of the temple toward the east (for the temple faced east)." Ezekiel 47:1
"On that day living water will flow out from Jerusalem.."Zec 14:8
Physically, this has never happened to Jerusalem temple, but what does water represent in the Bible?
"Whoever drinks the water I give him will never thirst, indeed the water I give him will become in him a spring of water welling up to eternal life" John 4:14
The water that Christ gives is eternal life.
As we Know, only God can give us eternal life. However, in the last days, the Spirit and the Bride are calling us to receive the free gift of the water of life, which is eternal life.
Spirit = Father - Son - Holy Spirit
Bride = ?
"But the Jerusalem that is above is free and she is our Mother" Galatians 4:26
In Revelation 21:9 the bride is clearly explained as the Holy City Jerusalem coming down out of heaven. She is the reality to the temple flowing with living water. The Living water that she is giving us is eternal life. Physical life can only be given by a Mother, spiritually, it is the same way. Eternal life is given to us by our Heavenly Mother.
"You are worthy our Lord and God, to receive glory and honor and power, for you created all things and by your will they were created and have their being." Rev 4:11
** Everything was created by the will of God. What was God's will in having Mothers be the life givers? In the last days our Spiritual Mother gives us eternal life. That is why Jesus said pray to our Father who is in heaven. A father cannot have children without a mother existing. This is God's will.
Many find it difficult to decipher the difference between false and true prophets these days. All proclaim to have the truth, yet with 850 different denominations out there, that proclamation is highly unlikely. The mindset has just become, "well since there are so many, we all find God in our own way. However, there is only one Bible and only one way that Christ taught his disciples 2000 years ago to receive salvation. Then, who are the false prophets today, and where can we find the truth.
"He writes the same way in all his letters, speaking in them of these matters. His letters contain some things that are hard to understand, which ignorant and unstable people distort as they do the other Scriptures, to their own destruction"
2 Peter 3:16
Anytime I've tried to spread the message of the truth I've gotten responses such as "Well that's your interpretation, I may see it differently". However, the Bible isn't meant to be interpreted in any other way than what it says. That's why God gave a very specific warning at the end of the Bible.
" I warn everyone who hears the words of the prophecy of this book (Bible): If anyone adds anything to them, God will add to him the plagues described in this book. And if anyone takes words away from this book of prophecy, God will take away from him his share in the tree of life and in the holy city, which are described in this book" Revelation 22:18-19
Then who are the false prophets? Those who take the teachings of Christ and turn them into something different, claiming to be following the word of God.
Let's take the basics first. Day of Worship.
According to the Bible what is the day that God commanded us to worship on?
"Remember the Sabbath day by keeping it holy, Six days you shall labor and do all your work but the seventh day is a Sabbath to the Lord your God." Exodus 20:8
**Sabbath is the seventh day, which is???
Sun⋅day /ˈsʌndeɪ, -di/ [suhn-dey, -dee]
–noun 1. the first day of the week, observed as the Sabbath by most Christian sects.
(dictionary.com)
Isn't it curious that the definition of Sunday Contradicts what the Bible says, shouldnt Christians be observing the Seventh Day? Sunday is the first day of the week YET it is the Sabbath for most Christians.
According to the Bible Sabbath is the SEVENTH day of the week:
Sat⋅ur⋅day /ˈsætərˌdeɪ, -di/ [sat-er-dey, -dee]
–noun the seventh day of the week, following Friday
(dictionary.com)
So some may argue that was the Old Testament, then what about Christ, which day did he worship on?
"He went to Nazareth where he had been brought up and on the Sabbath day he went into the Synagogue as was his custom and stood up to read from the scroll of the prophet Isaiah" Luke 4:16
Christ kept the Sabbath day, then what about his followers? Many claim that after his resurrection everything changed, lets see if it did ....
"As HIS custom was, Paul went into the synagogue, and on three Sabbath days he reasoned with them from the scriptures, explaining and proving that Christ had to suffer and rise from the dead" Acts 17:2-3
Apostle Paul, one of the greatest Apostles of Christ kept the Sabbath day as was his custom. Then what about the churches that keep Sunday worship, a teaching that isn't from Christ, who's customs are they following?
"Not to mention other examples, is not every Christian obliged to sanctify Sunday and to abstain on that day from unnecessary servile work? Is not the observance of this law among the most prominent of our sacred duties? But you may read the Bible from Genesis to Revelation, and you will not find a single line authorizing the sanctification of Sunday. The scriptures enforce the religious observance of Saturday, a day which we never sanctify"
-James Cardinal Gibbons, "The Faith of our Fathers," pp.72-73
(This book was written by a Cardinal of the Catholic Church)
"I am astonished that you are so quickly deserting the one who called you by the grace of Christ and are turning to a different gospel -- which is really no gospel at all. Evidently some people are throwing you into confusion and are trying to pervert the gospel of Christ. But even if we or an angel from heaven should preach a gospel other than the one we preached to you, let him be eternally condemned" Galatians 1:6-8
Apostle Paul gave this very strong message to the church of Galatia because some were claiming other teachings to be of Christ, rather than holding true to what CHrist himself brought them to follow. This same message applies to us now. Even though many churches, pastors, priests, etc. Claim to follow God, if they aren't following the true teachings of Christ and yet teaching others to follow these false doctrines, who is it in the end that we're following?
"The Spirit clearly says that in later times some will abandon the faith and follow deceiving spirits and things taught by demons" 1 Timothy 4:1
How will we know who the deceiving spirits are? to be deceptive means that it's done in a way that seems okay but in reality, it is merely deceit, then how to recognize?
"They forbid people to marry and order them to abstain from certain foods, which God created to be receieved with thanksgiving by those who believe and who know the truth" 1 Timothy 4:3
Let's Recap, if the following are teachings of a certain group or church, according to the Bible it is from a deceptive Spirit that is distorting the words of the Bible to their own destruction:
* Sunday Worship
* Abstaining from certain foods
* Forbidding Marriage (Even the higher officials in churches are able to marry according to the Bible)
"The prophets follow an evil course and use their power unjustly. Both prophet and priest are godless, even in my temple I find their wickedness, declares the Lord" Jeremiah 23:10-11
In the time of Jeremiah, even in the temple of the Lord many priests and prophets were speaking for their own gain and causing others to follow evil lies. But why is it that we need to know these things? Many people think the Old Testament is written just for our enjoyment because they are fascinating stories. Is that the only reason God wants us to see these things? for our enjoyment?
Isn't the Bible written to teach us something more than that?
"For everything that was writte in the past was written to teach us, so that through endurance and encouragement of the scriptures we might have hope" Romans 15:4
**Everything that happened in the past teaches us that the same things may occur in later times. Hence Apostle Paul stating that in later times some may follow deceptive Spirits. In the past even in the Temple of the Lord many were teaching and following false doctrines. However, if you think about it the same thing is happening today. Many denominations and sects of "Christianity" claim to have the truth yet follow many teachings that are against the Bible. How many other false teachings are people being led into thinking they will receieve Salvation when in reality, according to the Bible, they are teachings taught by demons.
Communion/Eucharist - cannot be found once in the Bible. These are traditions that are kept either weekly, monthly, or several times per year. However, when did Christ give us his body and blood?
"On the first day of the Feast of Unleavened Bread the disciples came to Jesus and asked, where do you want us to make preparations for you to eat the Passover. He replied, "Go into the city to a certain man and tell him, the Teacher says: my appointed time is near, I am going to celebrate the Passover with my disciples"
"While they were eating Jesus took bread.."Take and eat this is my body". Then he took the cup gave thanks and offered it to them saying, "Drink from it all of you this is my blood of the Covenant" Matthew 26:17-27
On the night of the Passover Jesus Christ gave us his body and blood and waited for an appointed time (Leviticus 23:5). It isn't the bread and the wine that give us life, if we just receieve it at any time it is merely bread and wine. However, at the appointed time God gives the Promise that the bread and wine become the precious body and blood of Christ, the way for us to receieve Salvation. It is the Word of God that gives life.
"Jesus said to them, "I tell you the truth...whoever eats my flesh and drinks my blood has eternal life and I will raise him up at the last day. For my flesh is real food and my blood is real drink" John 6:54-55
God gave us the promise of eternal life by receiving the flesh and blood of Christ through the Passover. Many have distorted the scriptures nowadays by following false teachings that allow this to be done at any given time. However the Passover has an appointed time for a purpose, it is God's will in order for us to receieve Salvation.
The Church of God World Mission Society follows the true teachings of Christ because it is the Church established by Christ. Only the truth of the Bible can lead our souls to Salvation, if we try to interpret the Bible in any other way it is to our own destruction. God wants to give us life not death and the true teachings of Christ are the ones that give us life.
"This is what the Lord Almighty says, "Do not listen to what the prophets are prophesying to you they fill you with false hopes. THey speak visions from their own minds, not from the mouth of the Lord....Jer 23:16
Adam and Eve, just a story? Or is it Prophecy? - Mother Jerusalem giver of Life
0 comments Posted by Short144 at 9:55 AMI was reading Matthew the other day and I got to thinking about a verse that Jesus had said:
"But blessed are your eyes because they see and your ears because they hear" Matt.13:16
Now don't get me wrong, I think it's great that I'm neither deaf nor blind, but I don't think that's what he was referring to. For a long time, before seeing the truth, I took the Bible as just a bunch of verses that helped me along with my life, guiding me morally. I've come to realize now why it is that Jesus said that...
"Blessed is the one who reads the words of this prophecy, and blessed are those who hear it and take to heart what is written in it because the time is near" Rev.1:3
So the blessing isn't just in hearing and seeing the words of the BIble, but also by understanding the prophecy. That's where the true blessing is. I had no idea before that the Bible is a book of prophecy. I knew the Old Testament is composed mostly of prophets, but what about the New Testament... what exactly is it prophesying about that we need to know before the time of the end?
"Nevertheless death reigned from the time of Adam to the time of Moses, even over those who did not sin by breaking a command, as did Adam, who was a pattern of the one to come" Romans 5:14
Who is the one to come that will be in the pattern of Adam?
"Behold I am coming soon!..."
"...I, Jesus have sent my angel to give you this testimony" Rev. 22:12-16
** So when Jesus Christ comes again he will be in the pattern of Adam
"The first man Adam became a living being; the last Adam a life-giving spirit." 1 Cor. 15:45
SO let's get this straight, When Second Coming Christ comes He will be in the pattern of Adam. Well now, isn't Adam always with Eve?
"Then the Lord God made a woman from the rib he had taken out of the man, and he brought her to the man. The man said, "This is now bone of my bones and flesh of my flesh...and they will become one flesh" Gen.2:22-24
So God's will in making Adam and Eve one flesh was for Us to understand that when Second Coming Christ comes, Eve must be there as well because they are one flesh?
"Adam named his wife Eve, because she would become the mother of all the living"
Gen.3:20
But in first Corinthians it says that the last Adam will bring life. However in Genesis Eve is the one that gives life. THEN WHAT does IT MEAN?!
When the Last Adam comes he will bring life, but how can life be existing if the giver of life isn't there. Then that means that Last Adam will bring Eve, because Eve is the source of lifE, BINGO
I've always been raised to only know the male image of God, where does it say that there is a female as well?
"Let US make man in Our image, in Our likeness..."
"....male and female he created them" Gen.1:26
So then if male and female were made in the image of God, God has to be both male and female. If God were only male then only male could be made in the image of GOd, but female came out as well.....
"For since the creation of the world God's invisible qualities his eternal power and divine nature have been clearly understood from what has been made so that men are without exucse" Romans 1:19
So what was made in the creation? Adam and Eve were made. So that means according to the Bible that male and female are the Divine nature of God...So why haven't we known about the female image of God until now?
"Let us rejoice and be glad and give him glory for the wedding of the Lamb has come and his bride has made herself ready" Rev.19:7
- - - 2000 years ago Jesus Christ didn't do two things:
1) He didn't give life until the last days (John 6:39;44;54)
2) He didn't have a bride..
why? was Adam the life-giver from the beginning? no, Eve was, that's why she was called the mother of all the living....this took place in order for prophecy to be fulfilled in the last days...
THEN WHO IS THE BRIDE?!
"Come I will show you the Bride, the wife of the Lamb, and he carried me away in the spirit to a mountain great and high and showed me the Holy City Jerusalem coming down out of heaven from God"
Then what is the importance of us knowing who the bride is? What is her relation to us?
(recap - as we know Eve would become the Mother of all the living)
"But the Jerusalem that is above is free and She is our Mother" Galatians 4:26
From the Very beginning God was both male and female. But think about how perfect God's plan was. God referred to our Mother as the bride, which means a wedding is taking place. In a wedding, who is the last to arrive?
In the 6000 years of God's creation work our Mother is the last to be revealed to give us eternal Life in the last days.
"The Spirit and the BRide Say Come, and let him who hears say, "Come!", whoever is thirsty let him come, and whoever wishes let him take the Free Gift of the Water of Life" Rev. 22:17
That's why God calls it a blessing to hear the words of prophecy. We've never heard of our Mother before, but think of how God has always revealed himself. Jesus 2000 years ago waited until he was 30 to be baptized, how do you think the neighbors took the news when they were told that Jesus the son of Joseph and Mary was the Messiah?
Where must we go to seek God?...Church of God World Mission Society
0 comments Posted by Short144 at 11:05 AM"But you are to seek the place the Lord your God will choose from among all your tribes to put his Name there for his dwelling. To that place you must go." Deuteronomy 12:5
"Let this be written for a future generation, that a people not yet created may praise the Lord....So the Name of the Lord will be declared in Zion and his praise in Jerusalem." Psalm 102:18-21
"They will ask the way to Zion and turn their faces toward it. They will come and bind themselves to the Lord in an Everlasting Covenant that will not be forgotten." Jeremiah 50:5
Then what is this Everlasting Covenant?
"May the God of peace, who through the blood of the eternal covenant.." Hebrews 13:20
What eternal covenant is the Bible speaking of that involves blood?
"While they were eating Jesus took bread..."Take and eat this is my body"..Then he took the cup..."Drink from it all of you this is my blood of the covenant".."Mt 26:26
In Zion we will find the blood of the eternal Covenant in which Jesus gave us through the Passover (Matt. 26:17) - In Zion we will receieve the Passover....
Where is Zion?
"Look upon Zion the city of our festivals, your eyes will see Jerusalem" Isaiah 33:20
What are God's festivals?
"These are the Lord's appointed feasts, the sacred assemblies you are to proclaim at their appointed times: The Lord's Passover begins at twilight on the fourteenth day of the first month." - Leviticus 23:4-5
Then who is it that will bring us the Passover?
"Give ear and come to me; hear me that your soul may live. I will make an everlasting covenant with you, my faithful love promised to David" Isa 55:3
As We know the everlasting Covenant is the Passover, which is brought by God, but I thought that in Zion, that is where the Lord will put his Name, why is it promised to King David?
"I Jesus...am the Root and the Offspring of David.." Rev. 22:16
But is this referring to first coming Christ?
"Afterward the Israelites will return and seek the Lord their God and David their King. They will come trembling to the Lord and to his blessings in the last days" Hosea 3:5
In the last days we must seek David, who is, Jesus Christ. But this can't be first coming, it must be second coming. Then... the Name of the Lord will be established, will the name still be Jesus?
"For Zion's sake I will not keep silent...the nations will see your righteousness..you will be called by a New Name" Isaiah 62:1-2
OHHH so there will be a NEW NAME.....are you sure?
"I am coming soon..him who overcomes I will make a pillar in the temple of my God. Never again will he leave it...I will also write on him my New Name" Rev 3:12
Who will have a new name in Zion?
"Indeed in Zion it will be said, "This one and that one were born in her, and the Most High himself will establish her." Psalm 87:5
OHHHHH the Most High himself will establish Zion. So Let's recap, even though the word of God is totally self explanatory.
** In the Last Days, the Root of David, Second Coming Christ, The Most High God, will establish Zion with an everlasting Covenant which is the feast of the Passover. Through the Passover Eternal Life is given to those who receive it.
Wait...Why must God bring back the Passover to us, hasn't it been here the whole time?
**IT WAS ABOLISHED IN AD 325 by Roman emperor Constantine and the Council of Nicaea. Instead Communion and Eucharist were instituted, both of which do not exist in the Word of God. The passover has an appointed time.**
Zion has been established in the Last Days by Second Coming Christ Ahnsahnghong. Church of God World Mission society keeps all of the feasts of God, which have been brought back by the Most High himself.
There, in Zion, "Your Eyes Will See Jerusalem"(Isa 33:20)
Does that mean it's overlooking the city of Jerusalem? I thought it just meant wherever God's feasts are kept....
"But the Jerusalem that is above is free and She is our Mother" Galatians 4:26
AHH so wherever God's feasts are kept that is where you will also see God our Mother....Now it all makes sense.
"That if you confess with your mouth, "Jesus is Lord", and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead you will be saved"
----Everyone knows this verse..We've all heard it, might have even quoted it once..I'm sure some have it smack dab in the middle of the fridge so you're reminded of it everytime you go to make a sandwich,. fair enough, it's a pretty awesome verse, if I just confess that Jesus is my Lord I will be saved. Seems pretty easy.
..but one must wonder, does this indeed apply to the age we're in living in now?
I'm sure you could wonder that about many things, but this in particular, considering what it was for the disciples at that time to JUST confess the name of Jesus Christ and be saved.
2000 years ago it wasn't "Just" confessing the name of Jesus Christ and you would be saved... it was more like confess --- get flogged, stoned, mocked, ridiculed, spit on, put to death --- be saved. ...nowadays when we confess the name Jesus Christ all you're likely to get is a "hallelujah". So then why is it so easy for us now?
Even in the times of the Old Testament. In Joel 2:32 the BIble says "And Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved"
So Clearly confessing the "NAME" of the Lord is important for Salvation. At this time of course it wasn't Jesus Christ they were professing, it was Jehovah. Once again, seems pretty easy, but was it? According to the prophect Jeremiah, difficulty came along with what seemed to be so easy.
"Lord you decieved me and I was deceived; you overpowered me and prevailed. I am ridiculed all day long; everyone mocks me...So the word of the Lord has brought me insult and reproach all day long. But if I say "I will not mention him or speak anymore in his name , his word is in my heart like a fire, a fire shut up in my bones. I am weary of holding it in, indeed I cannot" Jeremiah 20:7-9
** There is a pattern here. In both the age of the Father and the age of the Son, those who confessed the name of the Lord were mocked for the Name of Lord, HOWEVER, it didn't stop them because they valued the Salvation that came with it.
OKay so in 2009, are we still living in the age of the son any longer? We certaintly aren't mocked for it any longer. When Jehovah came in the flesh as a son according to Prophecy (Isaiah 9:6) the Name of our Savior changed to Jesus Christ.
Something is missing.
In Matthew 28:18 "Jesus came to them and said, "All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Therefore go and make disciples of all nations baptizing them in the Name of the Father and of the son and of the Holy Spirit.."
He didn't say title right? he said Name.
Name of Father = Jehovah
Name of Son = Jesus
Name of Holy Spirit = ?
Shouldn't the Holy Spirit have a name too? I'm sure it wasn't a typo on Matthew's part, there must be a reason why Jesus said in all three NAMES. Throughout the entire BIble its obvious that knowing the "NAME" of our Savior is very important. Then Let's see, should there also be a name for the Holy Spirit?
"....and I will also write on him my new name. He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches" Revelation 3:12-13
----though Jesus is speaking here, it says hear what the Spirit says to the churches.
As we saw through previous verses when an age changed, the Name of our Savior changed. Then here we see Jesus is giving us a NEW NAME, then if a new name is being given which age has begun? Has to be the age of the Holy Spirit. The final age of the Bible. That's why in Revelation everything refers to SPirit, because the age of the Holy Spirit is in the Last days.
In the book of Ecclesiastes God helps us to understand many important basic concepts in order to follow God correctly... such as..where our spirit comes from and returns to... and also the concept of time limitation.
Eccl. 3:1 - "There is a time for everything, and a season for every activity under heaven:
a time to be born and a time to die
a time to plant and a time to uproot
a time to kill and a time to heal
a time to tear down and a time to build
a time to weep and a time to laugh
a time to mourn and a time to dance
...so what is it that God wants us to understand through this? Obviously there is a time for everything and with that there is time limitation. Everything must come to an end, nothing lasts forever (except the Kingdom of heaven) --- THen in the same way there is a time limitation on the name of our Savior.
Sure 2000 years ago if we confessed with our Mouths Jesus is Lord and Believed it in our hearts we would be saved, but 1. We're not living in that time anymore, and 2. They were greatly persecuted for it.
Nowadays We are living in the age of Second COming Christ - The Age of the Holy Spirit.
"I will also give him a white stone with a new name written on it, known only to him who receives it" Rev 2:17
"As you come to him, the living Stone, rejected by men but chosen by God" 1Peter 2:4
The White Stone we will be given is Christ Coming again to give us his New Name, so that we may call on our Savior and be saved. Is it easy? Does everyone believe today that Christ Ahnsahnghong is GOd? of course not, throughout Bible history we can see that that's how it's supposed to be. If everyone fell from persecution during the Ages of the Father and Son, no one would have received Salvation, but they understood the concept of time limitation and the importance of the Name of our Savior, and because of that were able to enter the Kingdom of Heaven.
"For you are receiving the goal of your faith, the salvation of your souls"
1Peter 1:9
So in the end we have the Salvation of our souls to look forward to, this is what we work towards in our life of faith. Then in order to have Salvation the MOST important thing is knowing who our Savior truly is.
I thought about it this way,
When Jesus Christ came to this earth, who were the ones that were saved? The ones who continued to profess the Name of Jehovah or the ones who turned to Jesus Christ? At that time when Christ came, the Name of Jehovah wouldn't save them any longer. Although it was difficult to break their concepts and see Jesus as Jehovah in the flesh, Jesus was the one to save them. The same thing is occurring now, in the last days, although Jesus has been the name to call on up until this point, It is now the Age of the Holy Spirit, therefore we Must call on the New Name to receive Salvation. So then why do we hear so much about Christ Ahnsahnghong, and why is most of it to mock and bash? because He is Jesus' second Coming,
---the hard part is Confessing with your mouth and Believing in your heart that Christ Ahnsahnghong is Second Coming Christ.
"We know that we are children of God, and that the whole world is under the control of the evil one"
Pardon me for starting so harshly but how incredible is this verse? To some, it may be pretty frightening, and to others a sigh of relief.
If the whole world is under the control of the evil one, then how is it that we can become God's children in order to make sure we're not a part of that vast group controlled by Satan.
First and foremost, how is one called a child? Well we all know where babies come from, but what about biblically speaking? is it the same concept? A verse in 1 Peter really peaked my interest regarding this....
"For it is time for judgement to begin with the family of God, what will the outcome be for those who do not obey the gospel of God?" (1Peter4:17)
This verse implies two things:
1) Not everyone is part of God's family because the judgement will only start from there.
2) God's family must exist on earth, because we are the one's awaiting judgement.
Then, why are God's people referred to as God's "family"? Easily they could have been called the people of God, but the Bible says the FAMILY of God.
Going back to my days of sociology family is defined as the following:
1. Parents and their children, considered as a group whether dwelling together or not.
2. Any group of persons closely related by blood.
(thank you dictionary.com)
*So in order to be called "family" there must be parents and there must be blood relation.
HM, interesting. Then what about God's family? It Should be the same. But how? Let's break it down. First a foremost, the parents must exist.
2000 years ago Jesus said pray to our "FATHER" who is heaven.(Matt.6:9)
Yes of Course, we've always known God to be our Father. But in order for a man to be called Father a child must be existing.
As we know when Jesus came to this earth he came as a son. Again one must wonder, why as a son?
"I have set you an example, that you should do as I have done for you"(John13:15)
- so the reason Jesus Christ (God Almighty) came to this earth as a Son, was to set an example for US. Therefore in order to be a son/child of God, we must follow the example of Christ...Then how did Christ show us to become a child of God the Father?
John 6:57 "Just as the living Father sent me and I live because of the Father, so the one who feeds on me will live because of me"
"And he took the bread gave thanks and broke it, and gave it to them, saying, "This is my body given for you....In the same way after the supper he took the cup saying "This cup is the new covenant in my blood which is poured out for you"(Luke 22:19-20)
- - - How did Christ set the example? The one who feeds on Christ will live, just as Christ lived because of the Father. Luke 22:15 "I have eagerly desired to eat this Passover with you before I suffer"
- So Christ came to set the example for us. By keeping the Passover Jesus gave us the example to follow. Of course Christ doesn't need to live from his own body and blood, but he set that example as a SON for us that we may follow in the same way by keeping the Passover. THIS must be how we become children of God.
BUT Something is missing. A family is defined as "Parents and their children"....that's plural.. we must understand why, I've never known God to be plural (Father, Son, Holy Spirit is same one God, and all male image)
however, the Bible still says otherwise...
"For since the creation of the World God's invisible qualities - his eternal power and DIVINE NATURE have been CLEARLY seen from what has been MADE, so that men are without excuse"
okay men, no excuses. How did God make a family system on Earth?
Father - Child - MOTHER. Here on earth, a family couldn't possibly be existing without a mother, that is why the Bible also testifies of a Mother, and no ladies and gentleman, not Mary.
"But the Jerusalem that is above is free and she is OUR MOTHER......
Now you, brothers, like Isaac are children of Promise." (Galatians 4:26-28)
The Promise that God gives us is Eternal Life. And as we know, through every living creature that God made, life comes from a Mother. Can we receieve that promise by only knowing Father? Not according to the Bible...
---Then as Children of God, how important is it to obey?
"Children, obey your parents in the Lord for this is right. "Honor your Father and Mother"-Which is the first commandment with a PROMISE-"
I'm going to break this one down. First of all, what is the first commandment?
Exodus 20:2 TEN COMMANDMENTS
"You shall have no other gods before me"
but the verse in ephesians says "Honor your Father and Mother is the first commandment" ....
first commandemt WITH....A PROMISE
"And this is what he promised us - even eternal life" - 1John 2:25
***Can life exist without a Mother and Father both being present? NO
That is why God clearly showed us, in order to have eternal life We have to go to both Father and Mother. God said you shall have no other gods before me then stated in Ephesians that honor your Father and Mother is the first commandment... WHY?
because God is both Father and Mother
"The Spirit and the Bride say "Come!", And let him who HEARS say "Come!", whoever is thirsty let him come; and whoever wishes let him take the free gift of the Water of Life. - (Rev.22:17)
* This very last prophecy of the Bible states that we must go to the Spirit and the Bride. (Father and Mother) to receive the water of life (Eternal life - John4:14).
"that you may be sons of your Father in heaven. He causes his sun to rise on the evil and the good, and sends RAIN on the righteous and unrighteous" (Matt5:45)
--- this earth is under the control of the evil one, then in order to be called the righteous sons of God, it's important to see how the scriptures have told us to do so.
Sure it's not what we may have been accustomed to in our lives of faith, but think about how the Jews felt when Jesus came to this earth...talk about raining on their parade.
"IN" Christ - Church of God world mission society reveals the Passover
0 comments Posted by Short144 at 8:31 AM2 Corinthians 5:17
"If anyone is In Chris he is a new creation. God reconciled us to himself through Christ."
This particular verse has always stuck out to me and here's why..
it continues on..
"God was reconciling the world to himself IN christ not counting men's sins against them.. God made him who had no sin, to be sin for us, so that IN him we might become the righteousness of God"
Throughout my entire life I had always been taught "That if you confess with your mouth "Jesus is Lord" and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved"(Rom 10:9) ...and rightly so, if I don't even believe in Christ how can I follow Christ's teachings? However, many verses in reference to Christ saving us from our sins, reiterite the word IN. Let's define. (courtesy of dictionary.com)
In - (adverb) On the inside; within.
Going back to the above verse, the Bible indicates that in order to be reconciled to God we must be IN christ. How would one go about doing this? Does the belief in something automatically make you a part of it? or is there an action that has to be taken as well? to be Within something, an action must be taken.
Going back to Romans, 10:17 says "Consequently, faith comes from hearing the message, and the message is heard through the word of Christ". Then is it just hearing the message? Yes that's what the scripture says. But what if the message is to take action? James 1:22 "Do not merely listen to the word, and so deceive yourselves. Do what it says".
Then if the message is heard through Christ, what message has Christ given us in order to understand HOW to be IN him. We know that only by being IN christ can we be reconciled.
John 6:53
"Jesus said to them" ( A message from Christ, let's HEAR it)
"I tell you the truth...Whoever eats my flesh and drinks my blood has eternal life...For my flesh is REAL food and my blood is REAL drink... whoever eats my flesh and drinks my blood reains IN me and I IN him." ....EUREKA!
I cannot merely just listen to this word, an action has to be taken.
So far I know, I have to receieve the flesh and blood of Christ. But how? There are many different teachings regarding this throughout the Christian faith, BUT if there's more than one out there im skeptical to just follow, let's see what the scriptures actually say about how to do so.
We know that Christ's flesh is REAL food and blood is REAL drink. How will I possibly know that this food and drink is in fact, Christ's body and blood?
Luke 22:14
"When the
PAUSE! Passover? something's not adding up. What happened to communion, or eucharist?
22:19 "And he took bread, gave thanks and broke it,.."This is my body given for you"..In the same way..he took the cup saying , "This cup is the New covenant in my blood which is poured out for you".
Now something needs to be set straight here. So far we know that...Through the body and blood of Christ we are reconciled. It must be in us. On the night of the Passover, Jesus gave his body and blood.
It's interesting how so very many churches provide communion and eucharist as Christ's body and blood, but how is one to know if it truly is? I can go to the store right now and buy some bread and wine, but that certaintly doesn't make it the body and blood of Christ, in fact one might even call that blasphemy. Who is the one to authorize...OBVIOUSLY only God.
What's interesting is that Jesus said this is the "New" covenant. Well in order to be a "New" there must be an "Old", I think it's time to do a little traveling back to the old Testament for some answers.
Exodus 12:1-14
Passover was celebrated for the very first time by the Jews in order for them to escape slavery in Egypt, when God sent the plagues. The blood of the Passover was a sign to God, anyone who had it was saved. This became a festival to the Lord, a lasting ordinance.
Hmm... festival of God that must be kept as lasting ordinances. This is news to me.
Are there more feasts that I'm unaware of?
Leviticus 23:1-5
"...These are my appointed feasts, the appointed feasts of the Lord which you are to proclaim as Sacred Assemblies"
23:5 "The Lord's Passover begins at twilight on the fourteenth day of the first month." HERE IS THE ANSWER RIGHT HERE! Remember I asked before, how will I know it's truly Christ's blood. God makes everything clear to us through the Bible. The way to know we truly have Christ's blood in us is to celebrate the Passover which is done at an appointed time. THAT's why when the hour came Jesus said "I eagerly desire to eat this Passover with you".
THAT's why the scriptures warn us "Now brothers, I have applied these things to myself and Apollos for your benefit, so that you may learn from us the meaning of the saying, "Do not go beyond what is written".
It is written that We are reconciled to God through the Body and Blood of Christ being IN us. The only way to receive this REAL food and drink is through the Passover. That's why Jesus said this is the "New Covenant". The Passover had a specific time it was kept in the Old Testament, but it was celebrated with the blood of a lamb. When Christ came and became the sacrficial lamb, the Passover became the New Covenant through Christ's blood.
then WHYYYY do so many churches claim otherwise? Are Comunion and Eucharist under God's authority or man's?
We're breaking out the history books for this one. It had to be someone going "beyond" the scriptures at some point and changing something. (Apparently they missed the warning of "Do not add or take away" at the very end of the Bible Rev. 22:18)
In AD 325 Roman Emperor Constantine and the Council of Nicaea met in order to bring to an agreement many matters of dispute.
"We also send you the good news of the settlement concerning the holy pasch..all the brethren in the East who have hitherto followed the Jewish practice will henceforth observe the customs of the Romans" (http://www.papalencyclicals.net/Councils/ecum01.htm)
Pasch is the Hebrew word for Passover. (http://www.secondexodus.com/html/catholicdefinitions/pasch.htm)
In turn, the Passover was abolished and Communion and Eucharist came about, all under the authority of Constantine and the Council of Nicaea. If you read many of the canons of the First Council, a lot begin with holding on to several ancient customs and traditions. - Who's customs are they?
"You have let go of the commands of God and are holding onto the traditions of men" (Mark7:8) This verse applies to now as well. Many are blindly following traditions instituted by men rather than the teachings of the Bible.
Then why does the Church of God World Mission society now have these truths? Under whose authority was Passover given to us 2000 years ago? Jesus Christ.
"I tell you, now is the time of God's favor, now is the day of Salvation" 2 Cor 6:2
In Hebrews 9:28 Christ must appear a second time to bring Salvation
Up until this point the true way to have salvation has been distorted by opinions and those who go beyond God's words. Christ Ahnsahnghong returned as prophesied to bring back the only true way to be reconciled to God.
Okay Lets face it, I think we're all curious about getting the facts straight here. Lately I've seen a lot of internet chatter about Christ Ahnsahnghong, some good, mostly bad... all of which pertaining to whether or not He is second coming Christ or heresy. It amazes me that we've been so accustomed to this age of relying on internet that we think even God can be found here. That's like saying "Man I really want to learn about God, lets see what google has to say about it" (say that one outloud for a second and realize how ridiculous it actually sounds). Should I go grab a chemistry book just in case i feel like brushing up on my German as well? ... Um.no We're going to the source. For a moment lets think about what the Bible actually says about Christ coming a second time. We know that in Hebrews 9:28 Christ must come a second time to bring salvation to those who are waiting for Him...who doesn't know that. And we all know that this will happen when? in the last days. SO, then we have to go to the book of the Bible that refers to the last days, Revelation. Most people are frightened to even look into this one, I myself am guilty as charged, but curious nonetheless, so I took a gander. Several times in chapters two and three Jesus refers to a new name that will be known to him who receives it....following so far? I noticed something interesting. I was alwasy taught that we won't know of these things until God comes surfing down on a cloud (do you think he uses long board or short?) BUT...in Revelation 2:17 it says "I will also give him a white stone with a new name written on it known only to him who receives it" ... soo does that mean if by chance one day you're walking along and a white stone hits you in the head. REJOICE! you're chosen ...that's as likely as God surfing down on a cloud. I recall reading in Acts 4:10 "He (Jesus) is the stone you builders rejected" but correct me if I'm wrong here, wasn't Jesus actually a MAN. So then what does that mean? Let's recap. Last days..white stone.. new name..2000 years ago, Jesus, rejected stone....Hebrews 9:28 - He must appear a second time.. BINGO! How could I have been so silly. So christ must come again, then is Christ Ahnsahnghong actually second coming christ? can it be? I've seen slandering after slandering toward Christ Ahnsahnghong all over the internet, but frankly, I'd be very frightened to follow in that. The scriptures promise us that God will come again, of course everyone has their OWN fixed concept, and I won't be hypocritical I had my own ideas on it as well, but even Jesus said to the sadducees at that time "You are in error because you do not know the Scriptures or the power of God" - Yikes. The scriptures make it very clear that Second Coming Christ will come again in the flesh in the last days. Even according to Micah 4:1-2 In the last days the Lord's temple will be established and THERE He will teach us his ways. It doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure out that in order to be taught something, SOMEONE has to teach it. So then, now, the Church of God is widely known and teaches directly from the Bible with things we haven't heard much about, are these the ways of God that Bible prophecied? So far I don't have an argument. And I certaintly don't live in a box, this world doesn't exactly seem too promising these days, even science can argue that one. I can't help but believe He is Christ. If i had to choose between trusting what the scriptures say or trusting what the crowd is saying in rumor, I don't know, I'm going to have to go with the Word of God on this one. There's got to be a reason why we're always taught not to follow the crowd, Maybe now's the time to start listening to my Mother. In hopes of understanding the Bible better I've found that turning to the Church of God has greatly aided to it. It's easy to "speak" a lot about the word of God, but in fact, the Bible speaks for itself and the scriptures have a great deal to tell us concerning the very Salvation we need to enter the Kingdom of Heaven. For every question I have, the answer hasn't come from anyone's own though or opinion, but directly from the Bible. It's a miracle sitting for an hour at a Bible study and not hearing one single opinion, rather "Let's see what the Bible says about that". My search for Truth continues.
