Many people believe that when Christ came to this earth 2000 years ago, the law was completely abolished and we no longer have to follow it.

However, Jesus Christ even said:
"Do not think that I have come to abolish the Law or the Prophets; I have not come to abolish them but to fulfill them. I tell you the truth, until heaven and earth disappear, not the smallest letter, not the least stroke of a pen will by any means disappear from the Law until everything is accomplished." Matt 5:17

The Law consists of the first five books of the Bible: Genesis, Exodus, Leviticus, Numbers and Deuteronomy. These are referred to as the Pentateuch and they are Moses' Law.

The Prophets are from Joshua to Malachi, the remainder of the Old Testament.

**Therefore Christ said, I have not come to abolish the Old Testament, I came to fulfill it.

"The Law is only a shadow of the good things that are coming - not the realities themselves." Hebrews 10:1

Many believe that since Christ came, the law in and of itself was abolished because he died on the Cross. However just as there was Moses' law, so there is also the Law of Christ..

"Carry each other's burdens, and in this way you will fulfill the law of Christ." Gal 6:2

Then, when Christ came, what kind of law did he tell us to keep?

"A new command I give you: Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another. By this all men will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another." Jn 13:34

HOW?

"This is how we know that we love the children of God: by loving God and carrying out his commands. This is love for God: to obey his commands. And his commands are not burdensome, for everyone born of God overcomes the world." 1 Jn 5:2-4

"If you obey my commands, you will remain in my love, just as I have obeyed my Father's commands and remain in his love." Jn 15:10

"I have set you an example that you must do as I have done for you.." Jn 13:15

By keeping the commands of God we come to show love towards one another and also love towards God. Then let's see the example that Christ set for us in terms of following God's law.

"He went to Nazareth where he had been brought up, and on the Sabbath day, he went into the synagogue, as was his custom." Lk 4:16

Did Christ really need to attend worship services? He is God. However this was his custom because he was setting it to be an example for who? For us, to make it our custom.

Example One: Jesus worshiped on the Sabbath Day - the seventh day of the week (Ex 20:8) - which is Saturday.

Does Jesus need the forgiveness of sins? "But God demonstrates his own love for us: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us." Ro 5:8

"..My appointed time is near I am going to celebrate the Passover with my disciples at your house....while they were eating Jesus took bread gave thanks and broke it and gave it to them saying, "take and eat this is my body". Then he took the cup, gave thanks and offered it to them saying, "Drink from it all of you this is my blood of the covenant which is poured out for many for the forgiveness of sins."
Matt 26:17-27

Example 2: Jesus celebrated the Passover with his disciples, the New Covenant way (bread and wine = body and blood) which gives us the forgiveness of sins.

And just as Christ set the example, his disciples followed.
Apostle Paul wrote: "I received from the Lord what I also passed on to you: The Lord Jesus on the night he was betrayed (Passover) took bread, and when he had given thanks, he broke it and said, "This is my body, which is for you; do this in remembrance of me. In the same way he took the cup.." 1 Cor 11:23-25

Do it in remembrance means to keep the Passover feast at it's appointed time, just as Christ set the example of doing so when he waited for the hour to come.

"For Christ our Passover lamb has been sacrificed. Therefore let us keep the Festival." 1 Cor 5:7-8

"The Lord's Passover begins at twilight on the fourteenth day of the First month." Lev 23:5

When Christ came, the law of keeping the Passover was not abolished, rather, it was fulfilled. In the time of the Old Testament the Passover was kept with the slaughtering of a lamb. When Christ came, he became the Passover lamb and died for the sins of the world.

This is fulfillment of the law; it was not abolished.

In the same way, The Sabbath day is not kept the same as it was in the Old Testament times. People were stoned to death for desecrating it and had to offer up many different sacrifices. (Ex 31:12; Num 28:9; Lev 24:5)

When Christ came the way of worship changed.

Somewhere along the line someone must have confused the words WAY and DAY.

"Yet a time is coming and has now come when the true worshipers will worship in Spirit and in Truth." Jn 4:23

Clearly the Bible shows us the difference between Moses' Law and Christ's Law. This is why Christ said the Law will not be abolished, it will be fulfilled. The basis of the Law of Christ, is Love. But the most important thing to understand is the difference between the Love that we know, and God's love.

God's Love is eternal life. God wants to cleanse us and make us holy, so that we can enter eternal life. This is the purpose of the Law of Christ. Without Christ coming, we wouldn't be able be made into perfect beings through the ways of the Old Testament sacrifices of animals.

"But those sacrifices are an annual reminder of sins, because it is impossible for the blood of bulls and goats to take away sins." Hebrews 10:3

That is why we must receive the Blood of Christ, so that our sins can be forgiven; This can only be done through the Feast of the Passover, which has been brought back to us by our Savior, Second Coming Christ, as prophesied, Christ Ahnsahnghong.

"I know this his command leads to eternal life." Jn 12:50

(Refer to the previous blog concerning the change of the Law "Delight in the law of Ahnsahnghong...For what?)

What is the purpose of God's law?

I always used to say "I don't need church to follow God, I worship God in my own way."
I'm sure many have felt the same way.
I never quite understood what the purpose was to attending church and the only answer I had every received to my questions were "this is the way to worship God."

Fair enough, but does God just want to see who will worship him and sing and dance? Is that the purpose to keeping God's law?

Why did God give us a law to follow?

In the time of the Old Testament, the people had to follow the law of Moses in order to be cleansed of their sins. Without the law they would die from sin. However, in the time of Moses, the law was imperfect, that is why the scriptures say,

"If perfection could have been obtained through the levitical priesthood (for on the basis of it the law was given to the people), why was there still need for another priest to come, one in the order of Melchizedek, not in the order of Aaron?" HEB 7:11

In the time of the Old testament, the temple was under the authority of the High priest Aaron and his sons (the levitical priesthood). At this time, in order to atone for the sins of the people, they would offer up burnt sacrifices to God (animal sacrifices). The priests themselves had to be atoned for their sins because they themselves were imperfect beings. Therefore, the law was imperfect.

However, the Bible states that another priest had to come, in the order of Melchizedek. What is the purpose of the new priest?

To bring perfection to the law.

"Where Jesus, who went before us, became a high priest forever, in the order of Melchizedek." HEB 6:20
"Because of this oath, Jesus has become the guarantee of a better covenant." HEB 7:22

In order for the people to be atoned for their sins in the time of the Old Testament, they had to constantly offer up burnt sacrifices to God for every sin they committed. I don't know about you, but I can't afford that many lambs per week.

This is why Christ came.

"Unlike the other high priests, he does not need to offer sacrifices day after day, first for his own sins and then for the sins of the people. He sacrificed for their sins once for all when he offered himself." HEB 7:27

"You, however, are controlled not by the sinful nature but by the Spirit, if the Spirit of God lives in you." Romans 8:8

If you notice, this verse is conditional. If we have the Spirit of God in us, we are no longer controlled by the sinful nature. ("Those controlled by the sinful nature cannot please God" v.8)
However, if we do not have the Spirit of God in us, we are still in fact living under the control of our sin and therefore cannot please God.

"Therefore, brothers, we have an obligation.....because those who are led by the Spirit of God are sons of God." 8:12-14

"Now you, brothers, like Isaac, are children of Promise." GAL 4:28

And what is that promise?

"And this is what he promised us - even eternal life." 1 JN 2:25

Therefore, if we have the Spirit of God in us we become the children of promise, which is the gift of eternal life.

2000 years ago, Christ came as the example of a Son in order to show us how to be true sons of God.
"I have set you an example that you should do as I have done for you." JN 13:15

"This is the one who came by water and blood - Jesus Christ." 1 JN 5:6

"For there are three that testify: The Spirit, the Water, and the Blood, and the three are in agreement." v. 7

"And this water symbolizes baptism." 1 Peter 3:21

"In him we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins.." Eph 1:7
"For my flesh is real food, and my blood is real drink." Jn 6:55

In order for us to walk in accordance with the Spirit and receive the Spirit of God, we must first be baptized and then cleansed by the blood of Christ. However, Christ said that his blood is real drink. Then in order to have the Spirit within us we have to receive the blood of Christ. How?

As we know, 3500 years ago the people were cleansed through the blood of the animal sacrifices, however, we are cleansed through the blood of Christ's sacrifice.

"For Christ, our Passover lamb, has been sacrificed. Therefore let us keep the festival, not with the old yeast.." 1 Cor 5:7

"When the hour came Jesus and his apostles reclined at the table. And he said to them, "I have eagerly desired to eat this Passover with you before I suffer...He took bread gave thanks and broke it and gave it them saying, "take and eat this is my body".. In the same way he took the cup saying, this cup is the new covenant in my blood which is poured out for you." LK 22:14-20

Through the feast of the Passover, we receive the promise of Christ's blood. This is the New Covenant Promise that he brought us when he came as High Priest in the order of Melchizedek. Through this Promise, we receive eternal life and become the sons of God. Only the sons of God are given the promise of eternal life, they are children of Promise.

That is why the Bible says, IF we receive the Spirit. We must first receive the Passover to be called sons of God.

"He said to me: It is done, I am the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End. To him who is thirsty I will give to drink without cost from the spring of the water of life. He who overcomes will inherit all this, and I will be his God and he will be my son." Rev 21:6

God's sons will receive the free gift of the water of life in the last days. According to the BIble, who is giving us the free gift of the water of life? In 21:6 it says God will.

"The Spirit and the bride say, "Come!". And let him who hears say, "Come!" Whoever is thirsty let him come; and whoever wishes let him take the free gift of the water of life." Rev 22:17

Without the Spirit we have no life and we cannot be called sons of God and therefore still live by sin. The Spirit is God our Father. Then the bride, is God our Mother.

"I saw the Holy City the New Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God prepared as a bride..."21:2

"But the Jerusalem that is above is free and She is our Mother.....Now you brothers like Isaac are children of promise." Gal 4:26-28

Then what is so important about the Law?
"So the law was put in charge to lead us to Christ, that we might be justified by faith." Gal 3:24

Without the Law we wouldn't know who Christ is. In the last days, Christ is both our Heavenly Father and Heavenly Mother. We know this because they brought back the law that leads us to life. Without knowing that the Passover gives eternal life and that we must be baptized just as Christ was, how could we be called sons of God?

Would we know this simply by reading the word on our own and following God on our own terms?

"How, then, can they call on the one they have not believed in? And how can they believe in the one of whom they have not heard? And how can they hear without someone preaching to them? And how can they preach unless they are sent?" Romans 10:14-15

How could we know about the Spirit and the Bride, Father and Mother, without someone preaching it to us. And how could we posssibly preach it unless Christ sent us to preach this good news.

"Come, follow me, Jesus said, "and I will make you fishers of men." Matt 4:19

Just as Christ sent out his disciples 2000 years ago to preach his word. So in the last days, The Spirit and the Bride have come to this earth and have sent the Church of God World Mission society to preach the news of Salvation given to us by the New Covenant, brought by the blood of Christ, the Passover.

"So then the law is holy, and the command is holy, righteous, and good." Romans 7:12

Because Christ came as our High priest, the law is perfect and God's commands for us leads us to eternal life. The law was created for us to be made perfect sons of God, because it has led us to Christ who testified to come again to bring us Salvation (Hebrews 9:28)

"Eloi, Eloi, lama sabachthani" - which means "My God, My God, why have you forsaken me?" Matthew 27:46

Jesus Christ spoke these words right before he died on the Cross. Why did he speak these words? If He is God Almighty, why did Jesus Christ say, "My God, My God, why have you forsaken me?"

To those who do not understand the Bible, they argue that this is because Jesus Christ is not God. However, to those who understand that the Bible is a book of prophecy, there is a reason why Christ spoke these words. Without understanding the Bible, it may seem as though it is a contradiction to Christ's claims that He and the Father are one (Jn 10:30)

In order to understand this, we must first turn to the prophecy of Jehovah coming to this world in the flesh, through the prophet Isaiah:

"For to us a child is born, to us a son is given, and the government will be on his shoulders. And he will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace. Of the increase of his government there will be no end. He will reign on David's throne and over his kingdom, establishing and upholding it with justice and righteousness from that time on and forever. The zeal of the Lord Almighty will accomplish this." Isa 9:6-7

Isaiah prophesied that a child would be born, a son would be given and he would have the Titles of Everlasting Father and Mighty God. At this time, who is Isaiah's God? Jehovah God. Would he call anyone else Mighty God or Everlasting Father? Absolutely not.

This prophecy is about Jehovah God coming in the flesh as a son, born as a child. Then, what is the sign that Jehovah God is the child born? I'm sure many children were born after the time this prophecy was given, however, it also says, he will be given the throne of David.

Then, who fulfilled this prophecy?

"You will be with child and give birth to a son, and you are to give him the name Jesus. He will be great and will be called the son of the Most High. The Lord God will give him the throne of his father David.." Luke 1:31

When Jehovah God came in the flesh, he came as Jesus Christ, we know this because he came as prophetical King David. Then he must fulfill the prophetical points of King David....

King David wrote the book of Psalms... let's understand what it is that Jesus fulfilled, coming as the prophetical King David.

PSALM 22:1-18 A Psalm of David
[ My God, my God, why have you forsaken me?.....all who see me mock me; they hurl insults, shaking their heads:..Dogs have surrounded me; a band of evil men has encircled me, they have pierced my hands and feet. I can count all my bones; people stare and gloat over me. They divide my garments among them and cast lots for my clothing.]

These words were written by King David during his reign. However, when we read the words and come to understand the reign of King David, they do not match. King David was very favored by God and loved by the People. He wasn't mocked, as he was King and could not be, and his hands and feet were never pierced; he died a peaceful death and was buried (1 Kings 2:10). They never tore his garments or cast lots for his clothing.

Then why did David speak these words? What was the purpose? Who's hands and feet were pierced? Who was mocked and spit on?

"When they had crucified him, they divided up his clothes by casting lots." Matt 27:35

"Those who passed by hurled insults at him, shaking their heads...Come down from the cross, if you are the Son of God!" Matt 27:39-40

"But when they came to Jesus and found that he was already dead, they did not break his legs. ...These things happened so that the scripture would be fulfilled: "Not one of his bones will be broken," Jn 19:33-36

Everything that happened to Jesus Christ when being crucified on the cross had already been written by King David. None of the things that David spoke happened to David, rather they happened to who? Jesus Christ.

Then why did Jesus say, "My God, My God, why have you forsaken me?".

Without saying these words, prophecy would not be fulfilled in his coming as the prophetical King David. This was the sign in order for people to know that Jehovah God came in the flesh. To the very death of Christ, he fulfilled all of the prophecies written in the Old Testament..

"He said to them, "This is what I told you while I was still with you: Everything must be fulfilled that is written about me in the Law of Moses, the Prophets, and the Psalms." Lk 24:44

So the next time someone tries to argue that Jesus Christ is not Jehovah God in the flesh because he stated those words, we can easily confirm through the Bible that these very words PROVE that Jesus Christ, IS GOD.

Without knowing Biblical prophecy how can anyone understand who God is?

The Bible does not contradict itself though many people claim that it does.

"His letters contain some things that are hard to understand, which ignorant and unstable people distort, as they do the other Scriptures, to their own destruction." 2 Peter 3:16

As the Bible shows us who Jesus Christ truly is, so the Scriptures also confirm the prophecies concerning second Coming Christ. However, without fully understanding that the Bible is a book of prophecy, the scriptures can be misunderstood. (2 Peter 1:19)

Just as the Old Testament confirms that Jesus Christ is God Almighty, so the entire 66 books of the Bible prove to us that Christ Ahnsahnghong has come as Second Coming Christ fulfilling all of the prophecies concerning Jesus' second Coming. Without fully studying the Prophecies in the Scriptures we may come to misunderstand this and not realize who our Savior is in this age, just as those who didn't recognize Jesus 2000 years ago as Jehovah God in the flesh.

"Behold, I am coming soon! Blessed is he who keeps the words of the prophecy in this book." Revelation 22:7

"He who testifies to these things says, "Yes, I am coming soon." Amen. Come Lord Jesus." Revelation 22:20

Why did God give us the scriptures of the Bible?

Some people see the Bible as a moral guide to life, others see it as merely a "religious" book that continuously shows up on the best seller list.

Was that God's plan, to produce a bestseller?

"My son, pay attention to what I say; listen closely to my words. Do not let them out of your sight, keep them within your heart; for they are life to those who find them and health to a man's whole body." Proverbs 4:20-23

The very words that God speaks are life to our souls. Then why is God's word so important to us? Without the word of God we would not know how to have eternal life.

This life is given to those who find the words of God. How can we find the words of God, and how can we find life through them?

"In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was with God in the beginning...In him was life, and that life was the light of men." John 1:1-4

Who is this verse speaking about? "The true light, that gives light to every man was coming into the world." v. 9

Who came into the world to give us life, as the light of men, being the very Word of God?

"..grace and truth came through Jesus Christ." v.17

When God came into this world, in the flesh 2000 years ago, he came as the light of men, and as the very Word of God.

However, at that time, Jesus Christ was not very warmly received. Why was that? the Old Testament scriptures testified of Jehovah God coming in the flesh as a son (Isa 9:6) and this son would fulfill many prophecies of the Old Testament, proving that he is the Christ. This wasn't very easy for many people, even though the scriptures proved that he was God in the flesh. Then what about those who did in fact believe, what did they receive?

"Yet to all who received him, to those who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God - children born not of natural decent , nor of human decision or a husband's will, but born of God." John 1:12-13

To those who received Christ and believed in his name they were given the right to be children of God.

In the verse in proverbs, God told his sons, his children, to pay attention to his words. What is it that we are paying attention to when we focus on the Word of God?

"And we have the word of the prophets made more certain, and you will do well to pay attention to it, as to a light shining in a dark place...Above all you must understand that no prophecy of scripture came about by the prophets own interpretation...men spoke from God as they were carried along by the Holy Spirit." 2 Peter 1:19-21

In proverbs we were told to pay attention to the Word of God. Here in Peter we can see that the very words of God, the light shining in a dark place, are the prophecies that are given to us through the Scriptures of the Bible.

Then the Bible isn't just merely words that we must live our daily lives by, they are prophecies that we must do well to pay attention to, because these very prophecies are the light of our life, the words of our eternal life.

As we know, when Jesus came 2000 years ago, he was prophesied to come, that is why those who believed in the scriptures, saw him and realized that he was the Christ. The Scriptures state that those who believed in his name, would become worthy of being called sons.

However, we aren't living 2000 years ago anymore, and now we have the New Testament Scriptures, which must have much more prophecy pertaining to our time. Then what does the Bible say in regards to us?

In the time of Jesus Christ, the reason why the disciples were able to have eternal life was because Christ came as the life and the Word of God. Without God coming in the flesh , they would have not been able to receive the words of life from God.

"The Spirit and the Bride say, "Come!" and let him who hears say, "Come!" Whoever is thirsty let him come; and whoever wishes let him take the free gift of the water of life." Rev 22:17

In the last days the Spirit and the Bride are calling to give us the water of life.

Hm, this sounds familiar...

2000 years ago Jesus Christ said these very words,

"If anyone is thirsty let him come to me and drink. Whoever believes in me, as the Scripture has said streams of living water will flow from within him." Jn 7:37

Does this mean that God wants to give us a glass of water?

"..whoever drinks the water I give him will never thirst. Indeed, the water I give him will become in him a spring of water welling up to eternal life." Jn 4:14

The water that Christ gave, was eternal life. But according to the book of Revelation, who is giving eternal life in the last days?

"The Spirit and the Bride say, "Come!"...take the free gift of the water of life."

Well, we know that the water of life is eternal life. Eternal life was given to us by Christ. However, in the last days, the Spirit AND the Bride are giving the same water of life.

SPIRIT AND THE BRIDE???

I think you know where I'm going with this one. So many believe that the bride is the church, but that is the error they have in not understanding the scriptures. If we merely take the scriptures as a moral guide to life, then yes, none of it will make sense and sure, the bride can be the church that is giving eternal life. Can the church give itself eternal life? Can a human being give a human being eternal life?

Doesn't make much sense does it?

That's what happens when we don't "Pay attention" to the words of prophecy.

The disciples were blessed because they believed in the name of Jesus and because of that they were given something very precious...

"He (Jesus) replied, "The knowledge of the secrets of the kingdom of heaven has been given to you, but not to them." Matt 13:11

Because the disciples believed in the name of Christ they were given the knowledge of the secrets of the kingdom of heaven, which are the very prophecies of the Bible.

What name of Christ must we believe in to receive the same gift? Is it still Jesus Christ?

"I will also give him a white stone with a new name written on it known only to him who receives it." Rev 2:17

"; and I will also write on him my new name. He who has an ear let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches." Rev 3:12-13

Jesus already testified that he would give us a new name. This name will be given in the age of the Holy Spirit, the age in which the Spirit AND the bride are giving eternal life.....

Then, in order to know the secrets of heaven we have to first believe in the new name. WHat is that new name?

Christ Ahnsahnghong came to this earth and fulfilled every prophecy regarding second coming Christ in the Scriptures. Without the Scriptures we would not know and firmly believe he is God. However, God gave us the scriptures so that we may understand the fulfillment of prophecy.

It wasn't the miracles that Jesus performed that led people to him (if that were the case everyone would have believed, but many shied away), it was the fact that he fulfilled the prophecies of the Old Testament, that is why even when he testified of himself what did he use?

"And beginning with Moses and all the Prophets, he explained to them what was said in all the Scriptures concerning himself." Lk 24:27

Think about it, HE is God, did he really need to testify of himself through the scriptures? No, he could have easily moved their minds. But he came as an example set for us, in order for us to understand that the only way to truly see Christ is through the Scriptures of the Bible. Many can proclaim they are the Christ, but without prophecy fulfillment, there is no proof.

Church of God World Mission Society stands firm in knowing and believing that Christ Ahnsahnghong and Heavenly Mother are God, because it is written in the scriptures through numerous prophecies. To post them all at this very moment would be impossible, the only way to truly know it and see it is to read the very words of the Bible that testify about Christ.

The teachers of the law in the Apostolic ages claimed to know the scriptures and even quoted the very passage that stated where Christ would be born, but did they believe in him? No, they didn't, because they didn't trust in the prophecies and in the end what happened? They killed their own God.

We cannot make the same mistakes. Prophecies are being fulfilled to this very day and God gave us these very Scriptures so that we may know how to have life, how to follow God and where to go to seek help from disasters...that is God's promise.

"Surely the Sovereign Lord does nothing without revealing his plan to his servants the prophets." Amos 3:7

"A third angel followed them and said in a loud voice: "If anyone worships the beast and his image and receives his mark on the forehead or on the hand, he too, will drink of the wine of God's fury, which has been poured full strength into the cup of his wrath." Rev. 14:9-10

Many have heard of the mark of beast (Satan) and fear it, yet not fully understanding what the mark of the beast actually is. Without knowing what it is how can we know how to stay away from it? According to the Bible there are two signs that we can receive. The signs from God and the sign of the Beast. Which would you prefer?

Yes, we all want the signs from God. Then in order to know what the mark of the beast is, we must first understand what the sign is that God is giving, therefore whatever does not match up to God's way cannot be a sign of God, rather a sign of Satan.

"For if someone comes to you and preaches a Jesus other than the Jesus we preached, or if you receive a different spirit from the one you received, or a different gospel from the one you accepted, you put up with it easily enough." 1 Cor 11:4

Pop Quiz: Is this verse speaking about one Jesus or two?

If you answered two you are correct.

Apostle Paul, speaking to the church of Corinth warned them of the distinction between A Jesus and The Jesus. Obviously, the one we must follow is THE one and only Jesus. However, many tend to take the very name of Jesus and add other teachings claiming to be following Christ, yet not actually following the teachings that Christ gave us.... but what does the Bible say about that?

"I warn everyone who hears the words of the prophecy of this book: If anyone adds anything to them, God will add to him the plagues described in this book. And if anyone takes words away from this book of prophecy, God will take away from him his share in the tree of life and in the holy city, which are described in this book." Rev 22:18-19

Then we know, not one word can be added or taken away from the word of God. Then with knowing this, what are the teachings of A Jesus compared to the teachings of The Jesus in the Bible?

The Jesus
- Kept the Sabbath day (Saturday the 7th day of the week) (Luke 4:16) ; as well as his apostles (Acts 17:2)
- Celebrated the Passover (Matt. 26:17, Luke 22:13, and his disciples 1 Cor 11:23)
- Commanded Baptism in all three names(not titles) and to teach the commands of God (Matt.28:18)
- Women should wear veils during service and prayer (1 Cor. 11:5)

Importance of Sabbath and Passover:
Sabbath - "Keep my Sabbaths holy that they may be a sign between us." Ezekiel 20:20
Passover - "This observance will be for you like a sign on your hand and a reminder on your forehead that the law of the Lord is to be on your lips." (Ex 13:9)
- "This is a day you are to commemorate; for the generations to come you shall celebrate it as a festival to the Lord, a lasting ordinace." (Ex 12:14)

** Both the Passover and the Sabbath, teachings that Christ himself passed on to His disciples are a sign between us and God. These are the mark of God. A sign on our hands and foreheads, and must be kept as a lasting ordinance, meaning it never ends.

These are the teachings of THE JEsus.

If every single person that claims to believe and follow Jesus kept these teachings, there wouldn't be any other denominations of Christianity.
HOWEVER, there are approximately 850 deoniminations. Are these churches following The Jesus, or A Jesus?

A Jesus

- Sunday Worship
origin: " Constantine treated Christianity as the favored though not yet the official religion of the Empire...It is important to understand Constantine's previous religion , the worship of the Unconquered Sun. ..Constantine continued to identify the sun with the Christian God in some way...When in AD 321 Constantine made the first day of the week a holiday, he called it 'the venerable day of the Sun' (Sunday)." ("The History of Christianity" p. 140)
- Those who call on Jesus nowadays, yet worship on Sunday, are they following A Jesus or The Jesus?
- The Jesus worshiped on the Sabbath day.

- Communion/Eucharist
origin: Council of Nicea AD 325, Passover (Pasch) changed to Roman Customs: "We also send you the good news of the settlement concerning the holy pasch, namely that in answer to your prayers this question also has been resolved. All the brethren in the East who have hitherto followed the Jewish practice will henceforth observe the custom of the Romans and of yourselves and of all of us who from ancient times have kept Easter together with you". - Baptism
Many churches baptize in the titles of Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. However, 2000 years ago Jesus CHrist said to baptize in the NAME of the Father (Jehovah), NAME of the Son (Jesus), and the NAME of the Holy Spirit (prophesied to come with new name in Rev. 3:12) ....upon which the one being baptized must then learn everything Jesus Christ commanded.
----can an infant learn the commands of God? No.
Then why do so many churches baptize at birth?
----Can those who follow 'A Jesus' possibly teach the commands of God if they aren't keeping them themselves?
Then why do they claim to know God?

What happened within Christianity that people are following traditions of men, rather than the teachings of Christ? Who is it that they are following?

"He will speak against the Most High and oppress his saints and try to change the set times and the laws." (Daniel 7:25)

Who speaks against the Most High, God Almighty? Satan does.
Who changed God's set times and laws throughout history? Roman Emperor Constantine and the Council of Nicea.

What is it to have the mark of the beast?
The Signs between us and God are the Passover and Sabbath day (7th day). When the Bible refers to the image of the beast and his mark, what exactly is it referring to?

If Passover and Sabbath are signs of God, then what are the signs of the beast?
Sunday worship and communion do not exist in the Bible, these were changed despite the very distinct warning that God gave us at the very end of the Bible. Do these teachings come from God?

"For such men are false apostles, deceitful workmen, masquerading as apostles of Christ. And no wonder, for Satan himself masquerades as an angel of light. It is not surprising, then, if his servants masquerade as servants of righteousness. Their end will be what their actions deserve.” (2 Cor 11:13-15)

2000 years ago Christ came to this earth and gave us the very teachings that we must know in order to truly follow God and enter the Kingdom of heaven. These are the teachings that exist in the Bible. However, Satan has deceived many by masquerading as an apostle of light and teaching false doctrines that lead only to destruction.

“I want you to know, brothers, that the gospel I preached is not something that man made up. I did not receive it from any man, nor was I taught it; rather, I received it by revelation from Jesus Christ.” (Gal 1:11-12)
- Apostle Paul when he preached the gospel, what was it that he was preaching?
o Passover (1 Cor 11:23)
o His custom was to keep the Sabbath day holy (Acts 17:2)

So then we can see clearly. Though many think the mark of the beast will be some distinct sign visible to the eye, that isn’t the case. Just as God’s signs for us are shown through the commands of God that we keep, so the mark of the beast is shown through following the teachings of men.

“Isaiah was right when he prophesied about you hypocrites; as it is written: ‘These people honor me with their lips but their hearts are far from me. They worship me in vain; their teachings are but rules taught by men.’
“You have let go of the commands of God and are holding onto the traditions of men.” (Mark 7:6-8)

We are living in a time that many who claim to follow God are merely following traditions and rules of men. These teachings are not signs from God;
“Her priests do violence within her. Her priests do violence to my law and profane my holy things; they do not distinguish between the holy and the common; they teach that there is no difference between the unclean and the clean; and they shut their eyes to the keeping of my Sabbaths so that I am profaned among them. “
God gives us the Sabbath day so that we may receive rest, blessings, and holiness. The Passover was given to us in order for us to be forgiven of our sins and receive eternal life. Although many teach that the day of worship doesn’t really matter, and we can have the body and blood of Christ whenever we want, these teachings are wrong. It is because of these misconceptions that God’s wrath will be poured out on those who have denied the signs that God has given us.

That is why God prophesied to come again, to bring back every true teaching of the Bible that we may follow in God's paths and avoid receiving the mark of the beast.

"In the last days,...the mountain of the Lord's temple will be established.. He will teach us His ways so that we may walk in His paths.." (Micah 4:1-2)

Christ Ahnsahnghong came back as the second coming Christ to establish the Church of God that we may know the true path we must follow in order to be given eternal life in these last days.

For a very long time I wondered what I had to do to be odedient to God. Was it merely doing the right thing and being a good person? I felt like maybe there was something more, something I was missing, but it was so hard to find out the way with so many different options. Could it be that everyone who claims to know God, walks in obedience to God's word? If that's the case, then why are we all different. There is only one word of God, how can so many different ways all be walking in accordance to the will of God. Is anyone disobedient? Isaiah prophesied of what will happen because of our DISobedience to God....

" See, the Lord is going to lay waste the earth and devastate it; he will ruin its face and scatter its inhabitants...The earth is defiled by its people; they have disobeyed the laws, violated the statutes and broken the everlasting covenant" Isa 24:1-5

* This verse is very serious if you think about it. God is going to destroy the earth, and for what reason? Because the people of the earth are disobedient to God's word. This must mean that even though many of us think we're walking in the path of God, we may not be. I think a lot about all of the different religions that came into existence throughout history and who the founders were; mostly men (aside from the time of Moses and the time of Jesus). Yet, many of these denominations and religions have a great number of followers. However, according to the word of God, in the last days it will be because of our own disobedience that this world is defiled.

Then the question is, how is it that we may remain obedient to God, in hopes of being saved from this disaster?

Throughout the history of the Bible, we can understand many things even about the times we're living in now. Everything that was written in the past was written to teach us (Ro 15:4)

King Hezekiah always did was right in the eyes of the Lord,
"This is what Hezekiah did throughout Judah, doing what was good and right and faithful before the Lord his God. In everything that he undertook in the service of God's temple and in odedience to the law and the commands, he sought his God and worked whole heartedly and so he prospered" 2 Chr 30:20-21

Hezekiah's faithfulness to God was following God's laws and commands. Even in the time of the Old Testament, though it was very difficult to keep God's commands and laws, he realized the importance in doing so, even when everyone else began worshiping idols and other gods, Hezekiah understood the power of God and the error of their ways; such as the worship of idols (2 Kings 18:1)

Now the laws of God have been fulfilled by Christ (Mt 5:17), however many people teach that the mere belief in God is obedience to God. If that were the case, God wouldn't be destroying the earth for our lack of obedience. In order to have obedience, there must be something to follow....

Let's get a little clarity through our trusty dictionary.com
o⋅be⋅di⋅ence  /oʊˈbidiəns/ –noun
1. the state or quality of being obedient.
2. the act or practice of obeying; dutiful or submissive compliance: Military service demands obedience from its members.
3. a sphere of authority or jurisdiction, esp. ecclesiastical.
4. Chiefly Ecclesiastical. a. conformity to a monastic rule or the authority of a religious superior, esp. on the part of one who has vowed such conformance.
b. the rule or authority that exacts such conformance

"Anyone who runs ahead and does not continue in the teaching of Christ does not have God;" 2 John :9

Then, obedience comes from following the very teachings that Christ gave us. Then what did Christ teach us?

"If you love me you will obey what I command....Whoever has my commands and obeys them, he is the one who loves me" John 14:15-21

and again..

"And this is love: that we walk in obedience to his commands. As you have heard from the beginning, his command is that you walk in love" 2Jn :6

To obey God is to walk in the love that God has given us. How do we do that exactly?

"How great is the love the Father has lavished on us, that we should be called children of God" 1Jn 3:1

Are we all children of God? How are we to know and if not, How do we become a child of God?

"Dear friends, now we are children of God..we shall be like him for we shall see him as he is...Everyone who has this hope in him, purifies himself, just as he is pure" 1Jn 3:2-3

The Children of God must be purified as Christ was purified, then how is it that we may purify ourselves?

"Now that you have purified yourselves by obeying the truth so that you have sincere love for your brothers, love one another deeply from the heart. For you have been born again...through the living and enduring word of God." 1 Pet 1:22

Therefore, we are purified by obeying the truth, the living word of God, through which we are born again. How is the word of God living?

"In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God." Jn 1:1

God Almighty, The word, came in the flesh as Jesus Christ, through which we are purified and born again.

"May the God of peace, who through the blood of the eternal covenant brought back from the dead our Lord Jesus...equip you with everything good for doing his will" Hebrews 13:20

Through the blood of the eternal covenant, we may be equiped with everything that we need to follow God's will. If we go back to the prophesy in Isaiah, what is our disobedience that will cause God to destroy the earth?

"The earth is defiled by its people; they have disobeyed the laws, violated the statutes and broken the everlasting covenant" Isa 24:5

Our disobedience to God is breaking the everlasting covenant, which in Hebrews is the "blood of the eternal covenant" through Jesus Christ. As we know, we are purified through obeying the truth, the living word, which is Christ. Then what exactly is this eternal (everlasting) covenant that we have broken which involves blood and Christ?

"Drink from it all of you. This is my blood of the covenant which is poured out for many for the forgiveness of sins" Mt 26:27

Jesus spoke these words the night of the Passover (Mt 26:17) when he gave us his flesh and blood. Christ eagerly desired to give us his flesh and blood (Lk 22:15) in order to purify us. He is the living Word that became flesh. His flesh, given to us on the night of the Passover gives us the way to obey God's word, enter eternal rest, and love our brothers in Christ.

"Now you brothers like Isaac are children of Promise" Gal 4:28
"And this is what he promised us - even eternal life" 1Jn 2:25
"I tell you the truth...whoever eats my flesh and drinks my blood has eternal life" John 6:53-54

**Then how is it that we broke this covenant that God gave us?

As the Bible clearly states, it was the night of the Passover that Jesus Christ gave his body and blood for us. However, in AD 325 Roman Emperor Constantine and the Council of Nicaea abolished the Passover, and instead instituted communion and eucharist in its place.

How was it broken? Passover has an appointed time according to the Bible (Lev 23:5), however nowadays communion and eucharist are kept at any given time on all occasions. This is breaking the very command that God gave us to keep the festival of the Passover.

"For Christ, our Passover lamb has been sacrificed. Therefore let us keep the festival" 1Cor 5:7-8

It is by the word of God that we receieve the promise. Many claim to know God, yet follow in laws/decrees that don't go in accordance with what the word of God actually says. This is why Isaiah prophesied that the earth will be destroyed because we have broken the very laws and teachings that God has given us.

"They claim to know God, but by their actions they deny him. They are detestable, disobedient and unfit for doing anything good" Titus 1:16

** So then how do we come to obey God, so that we may be saved from disaster in the last days? By following the truth of God's word and being purified by keeping the Passover. Although it was abolished throughout history, we have now received the Passover once again, by the very grace of God. As prophesied:

"In the last days....He will teach us his ways, so that we may walk in his paths. The law will go out from Zion, the word of the Lord from Jerusalem" Mic 4:1-2

In the last days God Almighty will establish Zion in order for us to know the path of God and fully obey it. The Word of God Almighty will come from Jerusalem, but not the physical city, God's word must come from God...

"But the Jerusalem that is above is free and she is our Mother......Now you brothers like Isaac are children of promise" Gal 4:26-28
..and that promise is eternal life, the promise to be born again.

" Indeed, of Zion, it will be said, "This one and that one were born in her, and the Most High himself will establish her." Psalm 87:5
We have received the Passover, brought back by Christ Ahnsahnghong, to give us life.

Christ Ahnsahnghong, the Most High Himself, re-established Zion, the city of God's festivals (Isa 33:20; Lev 23:1), and revealed Heavenly Mother, the New Jerusalem.

Through the Promise of God's word, we have been purified, born again; through the Passover blood of the eternal covenant, the only way to fully become obedient to God's word. Though many claim to know God, it is by the TRUTH that we receive the promise that God has given us, which is eternal life only be keeping the Passover.

When King Hezekiah realized the importance of the Passover, he sent word to everyone who had not kept it for many years. Though many mocked and ridiculed him (2 Ch 30:1,10) those few who obeyed God's word were saved from the attack of a vast army that attacked Jerusalem (2 Ki 19:30-35). Though everyone else was destroyed; they were saved through the promise God gave through the Passover. We can learn from this. Though many may mock and claim to know the way of God, it is only by the word of God that we are saved. And though for a very long time many have followed other ways and have forgotten the laws of God, these very laws have been brought back for the sake of our Salvation. Our obedience to God's word is what grants us eternal life, and safety from disaster in the last days.

Okay Lets face it, I think we're all curious about getting the facts straight here. Lately I've seen a lot of internet chatter about Christ Ahnsahnghong, some good, mostly bad... all of which pertaining to whether or not He is second coming Christ or heresy. It amazes me that we've been so accustomed to this age of relying on internet that we think even God can be found here. That's like saying "Man I really want to learn about God, lets see what google has to say about it" (say that one outloud for a second and realize how ridiculous it actually sounds). Should I go grab a chemistry book just in case i feel like brushing up on my German as well? ... Um.no                                                                                       We're going to the source.                                                    For a moment lets think about what the Bible actually says about Christ coming a second time. We know that in Hebrews 9:28 Christ must come a second time to bring salvation to those who are waiting for Him...who doesn't know that. And we all know that this will happen when? in the last days. SO, then we have to go to the book of the Bible that refers to the last days, Revelation. Most people are frightened to even look into this one, I myself am guilty as charged, but curious nonetheless, so I took a gander. Several times in chapters two and three Jesus refers to a new name that will be known to him who receives it....following so far?   I noticed something interesting. I was alwasy taught that we won't know of these things until God comes surfing down on a cloud (do you think he uses long board or short?) BUT...in Revelation 2:17 it says "I will also give him a white stone with a new name written on it known only to him who receives it" ... soo does that mean if by chance one day you're walking along and a white stone hits you in the head. REJOICE! you're chosen ...that's as likely as God surfing down on a cloud. I recall reading in Acts 4:10 "He (Jesus) is the stone you builders rejected" but correct me if I'm wrong here, wasn't Jesus actually a MAN. So then what does that mean?                                                                                                                                                                 Let's recap. Last days..white stone.. new name..2000 years ago, Jesus, rejected stone....Hebrews 9:28 - He must appear a second time.. BINGO! How could I have been so silly. So christ must come again, then is Christ Ahnsahnghong actually second coming christ? can it be? I've seen slandering after slandering toward Christ Ahnsahnghong all over the internet, but frankly, I'd be very frightened to follow in that. The scriptures promise us that God will come again, of course everyone has their OWN fixed concept, and I won't be hypocritical I had my own ideas on it as well, but even Jesus said to the sadducees at that time "You are in error because you do not know the Scriptures or the power of God" - Yikes. The scriptures make it very clear that Second Coming Christ will come again in the flesh in the last days. Even according to Micah 4:1-2 In the last days the Lord's temple will be established and THERE He will teach us his ways. It doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure out that in order to be taught something, SOMEONE has to teach it.  So then, now, the Church of God is widely known and teaches directly from the Bible with things we haven't heard much about, are these the ways of God that Bible prophecied? So far I don't have an argument. And I certaintly don't live in a box, this world doesn't exactly seem too promising these days, even science can argue that one. I can't help but  believe He is Christ. If i had to choose between trusting what the scriptures say or trusting what the crowd is saying in rumor, I don't know, I'm going to have to go with the Word of God on this one. There's got to be a reason why we're always taught not to follow the crowd, Maybe now's the time to start listening to my Mother. In hopes of understanding the Bible better I've found that turning to the Church of God has greatly aided to it. It's easy to "speak" a lot about the word of God, but in fact, the Bible speaks for itself and the scriptures have a great deal to tell us concerning the very Salvation we need to enter the Kingdom of Heaven. For every question I have, the answer hasn't come from anyone's own though or opinion, but directly from the Bible. It's a miracle sitting for an hour at a Bible study and not hearing one single opinion, rather "Let's see what the Bible says about that". My search for Truth continues.
